Inaccurate Product Listing
On Amazon, product is listed as made in USA. Build dot com lists product as made in Germany. Neither are true, product is made in China. Appearance: nice look & design. But the nickel is a bit noticeably darker than "American" brushed/polished nickel., so they don't quite match other bathroom fixtures. But it will work OK. The bath bar is like the other review said, a bit flimsy with the rod. It will flex if you press on it, which cause the bar to bend and in turn move the mounting plates. Let's see overtime, if the mounting plates will hold up. Should matter if you mount to stud, but if you mount to dry wall using the included plastic anchors, overtime it may get loose. Talking about the anchor, the instruction states drilling 6mm holes to mount the plastic anchor. At 15/64 ″ or 1/4", That's too big a hole. Use 7/32" drill bit instead otherwise the plastic anchor not bite into the drywall. I have other bath fixtures from Grohe and Hansgrohe, all made in Germany, so it is a bit disappointing that's the description is misleading on the country of origin for the bath accessories.
