I imagine it works better for firmer mattresses, but my softer foam one often slips right over these brackets if I’m not careful. However they do help keep my bed in place for the most part. I wish they were a little taller.Warning: install them with the little screws facing inward! My brother put them on the outside originally and these suckers will DESTROY your ankles

My bed hasn’t moved at all since installing. My mattress was slightly too big but it still does the job.

We recently purchased a twin sized memory foam mattress and a metal frame. The metal frame is so slick that the mattress would dangerously slide 4-5 inches off the side every time we'd go to sit down on the edge of it or the dog would jump up on it (leaving a huge gap over the rails that could easily snap a dog's leg, were it to fall down between the rails jumping off). So I really needed something to keep the mattress secure, and I needed it quick! Short of strapping the mattress to the frame -- which did not seem appealing when it comes to sheet changes and comfort -- it was either give these a shot or dismantle the frame, package it up and send it back and find something else more secure. So, I ordered these frame guards/brackets -- whatever they're called -- and am pleasantly surprised at how easy they are to install! Twisting the little knob/screw things by hand is the most difficult part, but I was able to do it despite my MS weakened hands without having to call my husband in (a pair of plyers would have made it easier to tighten down, but then I'd have to go rummage through the garage). I think it's a great product! Really smart of the designer to give it a rounded top and avoid sharp edges! Its pretty good. I'd have given it five stars, but am deducting one star because my set of 6 came with only 12 knob/screw things - the exact amount needed for 6 brackets - with no extras, and 2 of the knob/screw things had bad threads and are unusable. Luckily, I really only needed 5 brackets anyway (2 on each side and 1 at the foot) as the head of the bed is up against a wall, so wont need to run to the hardware store to try to find replacements for the 6th. All in all, highly recommend.

Do what they are supposed to do - keep a nine inch mattress in place. They are fairly heavy and if the screws hold up, will work well. The "smile" is cute, too.

These definitely keep your mattress from sliding off the bed frame. My only issue has to do with the fact of how my bed skirt doesn’t fit smoothly since these were added. I wished I’d purchased these before I purchased the bedding.

These are wonderful for keeping bed in place where it should be! Has stood up well to little monkey toddlers jumping all over the bed and being super silly. Very durable and great price for how well they have worked! Easy to install!

The media could not be loaded.  This is a life saver! I’ve always brushed off the fact that my mattress has a consistent issue of sliding off my bed side to side. I’d always try to adjust and put it in place. However, it’s becoming a habit, annoying on that. I decided to give this a try and it definitely met my expectations! However, as you can see in the video, one of the screws doesn’t fit one of the holes. It would get stuck after a twist or two. But I’m still satisfied as this helped put my mattress in place!

I used it for my bed that keeps sliding because it’s against the wall. They are a lot smaller than I thought. But they definitely stop the bed from coming all the way off. My bed is in a unique circumstance where I’m better off getting a bed frame, but for others they work really well. I have a twin sized bed btw

So far this item has managed to do what similar items have failed to do.

Overall I am quite happy with the product, it was easy to fix them to the bed frame and it works very well to hold the mattress in place. I can give it 5 star rating but expensive price of this let me down, as I bought the Zinus double bed frame with £80 and these 6 pieces of metal cost me £45.
