OTraki Mesh Wshaing Bag with Handles 16x20 inch

UPDATE (to the update): I have now purchased this SEVEN (7) times. Sent a few off to college with a kid. Donated all of my other lingerie bags that aren't these. Also love putting leggings and other "snag gables" in them. You can't go wrong. UPDATE: I have now purchased these FIVE (5) times. Cannot beat them. I use lingerie bags a LOT. Several in every wash. And I don't own "lingerie".... Truth is, in spite of having a front load washer, there are just too many garments that last longer when washed in bags: bras, anything with hardware (I'm looking at you, Hot Topic), to separate different people's underwear (no sorting later and total privacy), and definitely anything remotely delicate. So, I have owned a lot of bags, and these are hands down the best: - hanging strap to use as laundry catcher in real-time making sorting obsolete, - sturdy seams, - great size ( and I think there is a version that is large enough for a full down anorak, too) - the zipper has a little pocket to tuck into, so no metal whacking sound in the machines, and the zipper remains undamaged - STAYS CLOSED during a long cycle with multiple rinses (front-load, I haven't tested on top-load) - makes sorting, washing, and putting away easy (why put any underwear away? (Leave the clean bag hanging up in the closet and just rummage...and have the dirty bag waiting in the bathroom) - I now have one attached to my dirty clothes hamper so I can put delicates in directly, which saves time and means I don't have to hunt the house for them. - I use these for the kids to keep their underwear / socks / smaller items separated and it makes it SO easy to get items back to their owner (I run the whole bag through the dryer) and makes it easier for them to put stuff in directly, too. - I can just hand over a bag of clean items and the kids can get their clean socks / underwear directly out of the bag, which everyone loves. I've bought these twice and am just a few more irritating laundry loads away from donating the other bags I have and getting more of these.

3/14/25 - OTraki Large Mesh Laundry Bag 2 Pack 24 x 32 inch Hanging Lingerie Bag Mesh Laundry Bags with Handles for Delicates Laundry Washing Machine Zipper Opening Wash Bag for Coat Sweater Sock Sheet, White I purchased these last summer (7/17/24) to use to launder a fuzzy, full-zip hoodie that I wore in the Spring. It was in pastel colors and so it seemed to get dirty easily. The second time I washed it in the largest (16" x 18") mesh bag I had, it didn't seem to get as clean as it did the first time. With this larger laundry mesh bag, it had plenty of movement in the wash and it came out as clean as new. I have other special care garments that will benefit from a thorough wash in these mesh bags without worrying about snags. I had no idea there were such large mesh bags for the laundry, but I'm very glad I found them (I also bought Otaki's XL size). They are made with excellent care. The fabric is a fine mesh and sturdy -- I'm pretty sure that the mesh fabric will keep my finest washable handknits very well protected. The raw edges at the seams, including the top where the zipper is sewn in, are enclosed within the seam allowance and overstitched (a French Seam, it appears.) to prevent fraying. The zipper is nice and glides smoothly and there's a placket at the closure point to tuck the zipper tab under to prevent it from unzipping in the washer. It's clear that the designer was aiming for a quality product and succeeded. I'm very pleased with my purchase and I have several special care (handwash) garments that will benefit from a thorough wash in these mesh bags without worrying about snags. Oh my gosh!!! These mesh bags are FANTABULOUS!!!!!!! I have high vis safety shirts, I turn them inside out and wash them in these mesh bags. Keeps the reflective on the shirt and the shirt gets clean. I don't put the shirts in the dryer either. But the mesh bags hold up well for the dryer as well. Undergarments work well in the bags also. I purchased the 12X16 bags. One shirt per bag or several under garments per bag. It's the perfect size for what I have use for.

Yeah, I know Dr Who reference for my title. But I swear it is. I have over 15 sari wrap dresses and they are plus sized. So that's a lot of material. I also have a lot of bras too, but what woman doesn't? I can dump a whole bag of clothes into one of these mesh bags. When I'm talking about bags, for those nerds/geeks who go to SDCC, remember those big bags back in the day then they first started giving them away? Yeah that kind of load. I do use those bags from SDCC for my dirty laundry so that's how I know. Also I love how they have a handle! Makes for easy transport. The mesh farbric seems to be of higher quality. Not the best but not the cheapest either. If I had to give the mesh fabric a quality grade, I'd probably give it a soild 7 out of 10, with 10 being the best. I should know I use to get these mesh bags from the 99 cent store or Asian markets. how those are small and some of them are very cheap. I also sew and have been since 2000. The zipper seems so-so, probably average or just a tad above. I had to order these another set in a different color because my husband takes off with mine... For his socks all the time and then ruins them or looses them. Not happening this time! Pro(s): Lots of room. Higher than average quality. Good value. Have different colors available. Easy transport. Exactly what I was looking for! I ordered the 24 x 32 inch and these things are massive! They have held up great so far, no issues, no holes, zipper stays closed in the wash, no rusted zipper, none of those issues (I have used them 3x so far). I plan to purchase some in smaller sizes as well as these are incredibly useful and worth the price point.

This review is for the 2 pack 16 x 20 inch mesh bags. I've had these for over a year and every time I use them I'm happy that I got them. They haven't deteriorated in any way and I can trust them with my delicate clothing. Large enough to fit many smaller items, a few medium size items or 1 larger item. The last one I bought I just got at the dollar store and after one wash the bag was shredded and the zipper was broken (with only 1 item inside which ended up outside of the bag, in a delicate cycle!). These bags however show no wear and I expect I'll be enjoying using them for several years to come. They dry quickly and they have a thoughtfully designed covering for the zipper head to tuck into once you close the bag. Tip: when tucking the zipper end in to the cover, tuck it so the zipper tab's hole is toward the opening side of the zipper cover. Makes it very easy to grab the hole-end of the zipper tab to pull it out of the cover and open the bag. Very happy with this purchase.
