I have three of these now and am happy so far
I used to have the paslode guns but they always broke. I have three of these now and am happy so far. One I wore out after 2 years but I replaced it with another Bostitch. I did have an issue with it not firing but changed gas with a new cartridge and it seems to work well again. I think the other gas might have been old. Even though it was full it had been in the bottom of tool box for over a year.

Did not work out of the box
Actually, 2 of them did not work out of the box. No shipping damage, just simply failed to function. Was it me? I read the owners manual, followed the instructions, did the safety tests on page 11 of the owners manual, and the first gun failed them. It also would not shoot a nail.I got the second one pronto, and left town on vacation. When I tried the second one, it had all the same symptoms. A friend of mine came who owns a Paslode, reloaded the battery and the fuel cell and the gun would not function. He said, " It works the same as the Paslode, except it doesn't work." I should tell you that I've been a Carpenter for 25 years and own 9 pneumatic nail guns, of various types. I believe I attempted to operate the tool properly. The gun looks cool, the YouTube videos are splashy, the case is good. Maybe I just got a bad lot.Why would send you something out of the factory that did not work? Maybe Bostitch is not the brand I'm looking for.

Excellent Brad Nailer
While this nailer will never replace my pneumatic nailers it has it's place. I find it extremely light given it's size, plenty of power and good reliability. I've used on exterior trim, flooring and some interior assembly and it has worked flawlessly. I haven't tried it with Paslode gas yet but I can't see any reason why it wouldn't work. In fact, the Bostitch gas cartridges come with instructions for using them in a Pasload gun.As with all Gas nailers, care and maintenance are paramount. This guns must be lubed regularly to operate properly. I haven't used it enough to warrant doing a full cleaning but I won't linger in doing it when it's due.

Look elsewhere!
I am the regretful owner of this tool. It is the most poorly performing item I have ever owned. You can't fire 5 consecutive nails without a jam. It's particularly acute with the longer nails. It will be a cold day in Hell before I buy something with the Bostich name on it again.

Bostitch 18 guage cordless nailer
This nailer works great. At first I was concerned that 18 guage brads would not be strong enough vs. 16 guage but I used it on Oak casing and it worked better than my Pasload 16 guage. I also bought the Bostitch fuel cells which are less expensive than Pasload fuel cells and they also have a lubricant added that lubricates the gun every time you fire the gun. This nailer was also less expensive than the Pasload. The case is rugged. My only complaint is that the case doesn't allow enough room to carry a larger box of brads. Other than that I love this product and would recommend it to anyone.

Good pruduct
It is light weight and holds its charge .. The fuel cells are a little pricey but all in all a good product ... The gun has enough power to shoot into oak and not leave the nail sticking out ...
