XLABAero TT Cage and Bottle (Clear,20-Ounces)

Great bottle. It's well made. But when it's empty it rattles around a lot and can pop off. Doesn't pop off easily but it can happen when empty and flopping around.

Great in theory, unfortunately the bolt hole locations limit the ability to mount on TT bikes. I have owned a Canyon Speedmax CF SL and CF SLX and in both cases there is no way to mount the cage as designed. The storage box located near the bottom bracket makes it impossible to use the mounts predefined bolt holes. In order to use, you will have to get creative and re-engineer where the holes are located. Disappointed that an aero bottle was not designed to accommodate aero focused bikes.

I've used this bottle twice and I have it on my aerobars on the Torpedo mount. It feels nice and secure and I wanted a bottle that wouldn't fly off every time I hit a bump. This has flown off 3 times in 2 rides. However, it only flies off when the bottle is completely full. I've now applied velcro tape to the bottle and the cage and I'll fill it no more than 3/4 full and see if that does the trick. Otherwise I like that it's aero and easy to drink from, hoping to get it to work out.

This is a great product, easy to clip in and out, secure when clipped in, easy to attach, lightweight, and aerodynamic (I assume, I haven't done any wind-tunnel tests). One unforeseen issue is that because of the bulge of the bottle, I am unable to install two of them on my bike as I had before with regular water bottles.Oops. I now have 1 aero bottle and 1 regular one. Great product if you only bike with one bottle on your bike.

I'm not one for the gimmick products that promise I'll save a few seconds a K, however this bottle is really nice to use. This is smartly designed, good grip, easy to get out and easier to put back in the cradle. Clear so you can see what's left, aero enough to satisfy the weight and speed weenies ;-) I use this with the Torpedo front loaded setup and if I need a new bottle during a race I change out the top bottle and re fill on the fly. This is one of those products that actually works AND might even save you a second or two per K.

I have a aero bike and this bottle fit's perfectly behind the down tube without exposing it to the wind. The bottle cage holds the bottle firmly even on bumpy roads. My only complaint is that I wish the bottle came in a larger size. I often go on long bike rides and I usually run out of water and need to refill constantly.

Sehr gut brauchbar, mehr Platz als zunächst vermutet. Macht sich dank der eher neutralen Farbe wohl in den meisten Renn- oder Zeitfahrradrahmen gut.

This bottle looks the part however is not worth buying unless you ride on very smooth surfaces. It rattles and moves around in the mount when both full and empty also the top is press on and made of weak plastic which will then break after several uses. The bottle fell out on the first two rides, the tab on the top broke, it was alright on a cycling track and finally it flew out and was lost during a sportive - I wasn't really bothered by this stage as it had become annoying stopping to pick it up. Save yourself the bother and get a different cage.

At last an aero bottle which doesn't jump out when you cycle over potholes. Easy to fill. Can be a little tough to pick up. But that's trade off for being tight.

Works well with other xlab system to refill when required.
