Set your IPad to Bluetooth pair mode then click the fn button (in blue bottom left of the keyboard)) and the delete button (with the blue Bluetooth symbol) and a blue flashing light will let you know that the keypad is ready to pair. Mind pairs really quickly, hope this helps.
