Bought this for my Harbor Freight 2 HP vacuum machine because the original starting capacitor quit working right in the middle of a project. Go figure. This part was advertised as a one-day delivery, and it came in the time frame given! Very impressive! It worked perfect from the start. Happy with the product and the retailer.

Size matters
This was smaller in diameter than the original, but worked for what I needed.

Most large motor failures are due to the capacitor - This fixed it for me TWICE!
I purchased a used dust collector and it simply wouldn't start up. It came on, but couldn't spin up the motor. This little gem installed easily and fixed it immediately. I actually keep a spare now.

Definitely don't recommend
Bought June 2025 and died April 2026 with minimal use, it's smaller then the original also. Contacted seller who says it has a lifetime warranty asking if I could get a replacement but they want you to reorder it and they would refund only 80% and I'm not doing that.
