Every bang for every buck
Incredible hydroponic system for the price, everything you need to get started minus seeds and a bucket. Very easy set up, I had it up and running in 20 minutes. Very excited to start producing vegetables. I will be back for a bigger set given the price and durability are unbeatable.

Flawed design but fixable
It doesn't come with instructions but it's easy to figure out how to put it together. One of the tubes came cracked so I'm waiting on the seller to reply about a replacement piece. The water flow isn't the best but can be fixed with the addition of a few plugs to direct the flow. Not sure I could build the system from scratch for the price I paid so a few extra dollars in modification isn't a big deal to me.

No Assembly Instructions and a Cheap Mallet
While the side manifolds came assembled, there were no assembly instructions and it included a mallet to tamp the pipes together, but it was so cheap the head came off after the first pipe. Here's what you'll need and want to know to assemble it:1) Get a big, solid rubber mallet.2) When tamping the pipes together, often stick your finger in the nearest opening to check if the pipe has seated all the way.3) Don't assume the pre-assembled manifold has been tamped so the pieces are tight. You want to tamp it down too.4) Align the pieces BEFORE you start to pound it with the mallet. Once in place, they aren't going to come apart or twist easily.5) Make sure you have a good, solid are to work. You can't assume your kitchen counter or table is going to take the pounding.6) Place a folded bath towel under it while you tamp. If you are doing this on concrete, you might crack the pipes if there's not something to absorb the shock of pounding those pipes down.7) Once all put together, place it on the floor. I guarantee a couple of legs aren't going to touch the floor. Get someone to push down on the diagonally opposite corner to flatten straighten it out. You'll hear the pipes creak about. If it still doesn't sit flat, place a book or board under one of the other legs, and press again. If that doesn't do it, get a thicker book.8) When you get it where you're going to have it sit, get your pump, and water bucket/tank attached. If the vinyl hose doesn't slip on, soak it in boiling water for about 20 seconds to soften it, and use a rag or towel work it on.9) After you fill it, don't attempt to move it. It is HEAVY. So make sure you have it in place before you start filling.10) To fill it, pour water in one of the holes. You'll want to use a big funnel. As you do, you'll hear water run out the drain pipe into your water source. If water isn't draining well, raise both front lets by screwing the leveling adjusters. You want a slight (about 1/8") differential between the front and the back otherwise, the back plants won't get water.11) Wipe up any water or drips.12) Turn it on and look underneath for drips. Also, you'll want to cover the 3 holes above each leg on the corners to avoid algae growth. You can get PVC slip-plugs at places where they sell sprinkler pipes, or find them here on Amazon. So, things you'll need in addition are:1) A larger, sturdier mallet.2) A large funnel for filling it.3) Ample workspace.4) A SOLID surface when you're pounding the pipes, but pad it to avoid shattering the pipes.

Good indoor growing alternative
It does great for a hydroponic system. I grew strawberries in my system and they did really good. It doesn’t sit very far off the ground and you are able to assemble and move it pretty easily. Just make sure if you are planing on growing things in this to get the Fertilizers to add to the water so that when it circulates through your plants are getting the nutrients they need.

Don't buy this junk
Cheap plastic parts and no instructions. I finally figured it out and it's missing parts. Called company and the replacements are 8+ weeks out bc it's coming from China. I'm am engineer.

Low water flow
Assembly was pretty easy, no instructions included but just looked at the photo. Also, no idea what kind of schedule to run the timer, ill have to Google it. For now I just run it 24/7.I got it all together and ran it through a test run and the water flow is very slow through the pipes. . The pump it comes with is very small. I'm not sure if it's designed very well to flow from one pipe to the next(NFT), or if it just floods the whole system until it reaches the drain(Ebb and flow), but water doesn't seem to flow very well or in a specific pattern, definitely not the pattern they show in their diagram. With the current pump I can't imagine water will flow very well once roots are in there restricting the flow. There is no slope so i lifted up the end that's opposite of the drain about a half inch. This is so the water flows better and more evenly toward the drain pipe.I put the drain on the opposite side of the fill. They show 2 different configurations for this, and I feel that having the drain away from the fill and not on the same side allows the water to flow mostly in one direction.Overall the plants are growing, but the holes are too close together. I think they're 4 inches apart, 6 or 8 would've been better. Overall for the price its good but needs attention. And, you really only grow lettuces and leafy greens. I think having one that's on a stand and not flat would be better. Also the water line that feeds the water from the pump to the pipes is clear and algae grows in it. It should be black.

Cheap and doesn't drain effectively
This was a gamble to buy and I so wanted it to be what it was advertised but unfortunately it does not drain efficiently, the water stays in the top tubes of the unit. Propping one end higher did not resolve the problem. I would save your money and build one out of PVC from the hardware store.
