great for travelling
This is a great option if you're travelling with a toddler: this seat rolls up compactly and is easy to pack. It fits over most chairs easily and does not restrict your little one's movement, but keeps them strapped in securely. I like that the harness goes over the shoulders (vs just at the waist) - it's more secure that way.The seat is well made and works for us as expected. If I could suggest one improvement it would be the packaging: right now it comes in a plain plastic bag with not as much as a proper label or instructions for use and care. It makes this product NOT giftable as the recepient would have no idea what it is or how to use it.

Easily broken
Runs loose and the plastic buckles broke easily. Can’t use it anymore.

Great concept and works well if it fits your chair
I think this concept is great--the "chair" arrives folded in a small box that I could easily slip into my purse for travel so that we always have a high chair even when we can't get an actual high chair. The straps that go around the back, however, don't have a ton of give, so I couldn't get them to fit on our relatively standard sized bar stools, so 1 star off for that. That said, if I could make it fit, I'd love this so much. It's a nice, breathable fabric, easy to wash and holds my *very wiggly* 21 month old well. He, surprisingly, didn't fight going into it, and I'll still be traveling with it for the purpose above with the hope that it will fit other chairs better than our own.

Unexpectedly useful!
I'll admit, I was skeptical about this harness when I first started to set it up. There was so much to clip and adjust that I couldn't possibly fathom doing this at a restaurant. However, once I got it all set up, I realized that if I was careful in how I removed it from the chair, it would remain mostly assembled, and it would be much easier to set up in the future. The best application I can think of for this device would be for traveling to a place where the chairs are always approximately the same size to minimize the amount of fussing you'd have to do to secure it. (For example, it would be great to bring to Grandma's house or a favorite restaurant where the chairs are always the same dimensions.)Personally, I plan to bring this on a cruise later this year so that my baby can join us in the main dining area.Overall, this product exceeded my expectations.

Not that impressed
This fold up fabric high chair is such a great idea, however it did not perfectly fit both formal chairs I tried. We tried one at home which is just a high-back fabric dining chair (no arms) and one at a baseball game private box which again was just a formal dining chair. It says it fits chairs up to 40 inches around, but it didn’t mention that the chair back had to also be a certain height so that you could use both of the two horizontal straps, otherwise you only get to use one, therefore not as secure. We were able to make it work by bunching the seat up a bit in the back so it didn’t lie flat against the back of the chair, which wasn’t as comfortable for our daughter, but it did serve its purpose. It was much easier than bringing a hard high chair, but still has some room for improvement. Also it did not come with any instructions on how to secure it to the chair so it was trial and error. My daughter is 2 1/2 and about 30lbs for reference.

it has a strong plastic odor
I do not recommend this travel harness seat because it arrives with a strong plastic odor that I seriously doubt its quality. I cannot imagine my kid eating food while using this travel seat. I leave it in the air for several days but it still smells badly

Good for standard, high-back chairs
This is great for standard chairs that have full backs. Our chairs have short backs, making this less secure since there’s not much where to secure the straps. On standard chairs, though, it’s great. The straps adjust easily and the buckles work well. There are two straps in the back that serve as reinforcement for the ties. The material is tough and strong. But the part that hugs the child is breathable and softer. There are enough straps that safely keep the child locked into place. Just be sure to check that the chair is safe and sturdy before attaching this high chair.I used a doll for demonstration purposes only, but it fits a real child much better.Really great piece to have on the go.
