The lights come bundled in a nice compact box. Getting them back in the packaging at the end of season will be a chore or not possible at all. The lights cannot be strung together with another string of lights so, you are limited to one power source per string. Multiple settings for how the lights display is great... I bought two strings at the same time, the flash controller appears to be made by a different manufacturer. The two strings are not synchronized and "twinkle" at different speeds. They fit my needs, but if you are a perfectionist, don't expect them to satisfy your need to be perfect.

Purchased two sets of these light to line our drive way for the Christmas season. One strand works perfect. The other strand has three small sections not lit (see pictures). I've noticed other purchasers writing review with like experience. The bulbs are great. The weakness is the small wire used and the very weak connection to each bulb (less then a 16th inch of wire to solder to each bulb). The strand as shipped is in two sections. Once laid out, it needs to be slightly pulled to talk all the packing kinks out of the wire. This is where I think 90% of the problems come in to play. The small solder joints and the shrink-wrap used at each bulb is all that provides the strength to the set. There needs to be a center wire of heavier gauge that takes the tension load as one works to lay a straight line. I would classify these as "use and dispose" type lights; I don't think they can take stress of a tear-down, storage, and then remounting for another season. I would be willing to pay more for a product that I knew could be set up and put away over many years of use. In my opinion, these would be five-star lights if a few more dollars went into fixing a few weak points.Wonder if Amazon will replace this bad set?

Just what I expected

Frustrating that after we put up the lights, the wiring was so sensitive it tore apart and. Ow does not work.

Initially I had given these 5 stars as they seemed perfect, however its now only 2 months later and both sets are completely dead. They just stopped working so thats a fail.

Stopped working after 34 days of use outdoors.
