Better OatsOrganic Instant Multigrain Hot Cereal with Flax - Kosher Pareve, 11.8 oz (6 pack of 8 Pouches)

It's almost impossible for me to find packaged, convenient food that is safe for me because I have multiple severe food allergies including corn allergies. Corn is frequently found in nearly every single packaged food in a given grocery store. The few safe convenience foods I do have are very high in carbs and cause problems with pre-diabetes. This oatmeal leaves me feeling full, does not give me a sugar spike feeling, and I do not react to it at all. I cannot tell you what a difference finding this has made in my quality of life. If I'm not feeling up to making a whole meal I can simply have a bowl of oatmeal for some energy.

I placed the order on 12/6/18 and the order arrived as promised on Saturday 12/8/18. As always Amazon is great. I was disappointed when I looked at the date on the product: SellByDate 01/2019. My first thought is this product is old and my second thought is I had better eat this right away. This order is older than the previous one which I still have 2 boxes left showing Apr2019.

I've only ordered the Bare oats (Oats, Barley, Quinoa and Rye - no sugar or flavoring) time and time again and I've got only good things to say about it. You get to control how much sugar or flavoring (if any) is being added. Usually I add unsweetened almond milk and nothing else. Absolutely delicious! If I want a sweet version - a bit of sugar and a teaspoon of my favorite instant coffee -tastes like a treat! Or a tablespoon of favorite jam mixed in. Or whatever it is you want. They are unflavored - so you get to decide what goes into them. The individual packets make it easy to grab for work or on trips.

I hope this company never goes out of business, love their oatmeal, and love that I can get a great deal with 6 boxes on Amazon. The only complaint is that the paper envelope that holds the oatmeal, you also need to fill the water in there (for accurate measurement) and they have holes in the bottom of the envelopes, so water leaks everywhere - this is on every envelope... Otherwise I love the product. I make mine and add (after taking out of microwave for 1:45 minutes) add some coconut milk, raw honey, cinnamon and bee pollen granules....yum!

Was hard to tell on website how many of the product. Like I said there were 6 boxes of the oatmeal, each box contains 8 pouches of oatmeal. Product packed good, also noted that the expiration date gave me 9 months to eat before they passed the best by used date, which really appreciate. Will definitely order again. As far as the flavor of oatmeal, well it's oatmeal. Also like the additional healthy grains with no added surgar is nice. Been eating this for breakfast for a couple years. I usually add my own fresh fruit or dried fruit to add a little natural sweetness to it.
