Night Monkey, Day Monkey: Julia Donaldson’s bestselling rhyming picture book – now a fabulous foiled board book!

We fell in love with the Gruffalo, so bought up as many of Julia Donaldsons books as I could find. My daughter loves night monkey day monkey and so do I! I don't find the black on blue print to be too awful, from other reviews i was expecting to have a hard time reading night monkeys half of the book, but the blue isn't too dark

Julia Donaldson is our favorite children's author. My three year old daughter loves saying "Silly Monkey, don't be daft..." every time we reach a part of the story that includes that line. Night Monkey, Day Monkey is an adorable children's story perfect for Toddlers. If your children love monkey's that is definitely an added bonus.

My 3 year old loved this book and wanted me to read it over and over to him.It's interesting to see the differences between day and night world though the eyes of two monkeys.The book is quite long compared to most kids books but not too long to lose attention of the little ones.

Great author and book.

Bought this for one set of my granddaughters in Colorado, after another granddaughter in California had me read it to her, and we all really enjoy it. The heart warming monkeys share their experiences from opposite view points, which is helpful in teaching children the differences in day and night and about how each of us views things differently in our own little worlds.

The story is great, teaches a lot of opposites in a cute way with typical Julia Donaldson flair. The stuffed monkeys were a nice addition as I sent this to my two nephews. My son also has the book and loves the story.

Julia Donaldson is (and has been for some time) my 18 month old's favorite author. No exaggeration. This is another adorable story that he immediately loved - first time reading he was laughing out loud!

I was doing the 4 for 3 promo and stumbled upon this book. My son was very into monkeys (at the time) and I decided to give it a try. I love this book. So cute, he loves the rhyming & mommy loves the ending. It is such a cute story and the british terms are adorable.

My kid loves this one and it isn't annoying to read a hundred times in a row.

Really engaging story. My 3 year old granddaughter loved. Wants it read to her every night! Highly recommend. 😊

Great story to teach kids that we can all be friends despite our differences. The prose has good rhyme and rhythm. Illustrations are cute. Only gripe is the choice of black words on a dark blue background!

Before i read the book to my kids i read it first. I was curious about some words like "daft" and "much too bright". Then i looked who is the writer. Julia Donaldson (English writer). So i was prepared to answer the future questions from my girls. We speak American English at home.At the end they loved it so much! And we was talking about which monkey will go to sleep now, that was fun.Great quality, hard pages, this is very important when you have small kids.
