I have been using this complete set of baking tools to make homemade sourdough bread for about 3 weeks now. I love all the tools that came along with the two high quality banneton baskets. The bench scraper is very high quality and works wonderfully. The bowl scraper is excellent, not too firm and not too bendy either! The fancy whisk works really well for feeding my starter and the lame (sharp razor knife) leaves perfect scores! I have not used the basket liners, because I prefer the beautiful rings left on my loaves, but they fit nicely and maybe one day I will try them out as well. I highly recommend this set, it's a great all-in-one purchase to get your sourdough bread baking journey started, too!

So glad I decided to upgrade to these bannetons. Quality is okay and as a bonus they are aesthetically pleasing, too! Kit comes with very decent Danish dough whisk, bowl and bench scrapers, a lame with extra blades, a banneton brush, and two different sized baskets with cotton liners. Some reviewers mention a smell, but I haven’t noticed one. The sellers have also reached out since purchase to ensure I’ve been happy with the purchase and offered some tips as well. If you’re sticking with bread making, this is an excellent first kit to purchase.

I received these baskets quickly and am very excited to try them. They are cute little baskets, they seem well made. I have never made rustic bread before, but it's something I've always wanted to try and the reviews seem to show that these as giving great results. The loaves look so rustic and amazing! Now, I'm gathering my supplies and courage and plan on making some rustic bread soon! I will come back and comment on these baskets and leave pics and a more complete review when I bake a loaf. I wanted to make sure I atleast began a review as it takes Amazon time to review customer reviews and make it live. This way I get the review up at least to give positive feedback on shipping time and quality. Then, I will be able to add to the review with more detail and pictures as I venture into the next part of my baking endeavors. This company is a small family business from what I understand and I love being able to purchase things here and still support small businesses. I bought this sourdough bread baking kit for my son because he wants to learn how to bake bread. We haven’t had the chance to try it out yet, but everything in the kit looks really nice so far. The proofing baskets seem sturdy and well-made, and it came with helpful tools like the scraper and scoring lame. We’re both excited to try our first loaf soon. It looks like a great starter set for beginners like us. I’ll try to update this review once we’ve baked with it, but for now, we’re happy with the purchase!

First of all I want to thank the seller. They sent very helpful with a message on how to care for the bannetons and when I had a question regarding on the the baskets, they immediately, with no questions asked, sent me a new set. Now the quality of this set is wonderful!! It is natural wood and no one banneton will be the same. I did not have issues with any "splinters" like some have expressed. My bannetons were smooth and pretty uniform. I use without the provided cover when BF'ing my dough. I love the natural design they get from the banneton. The lame and scraper are added benefits to this set. I highly recommend this company. I was very impressed with their help and information regarding care this set requires to keep using them for a very long time.

These baskets have made bread baking a joy! They are good quality, no splinters or stapling visible, no strange smells either. Be sure you have some rice flour to put on basket to avoid sticking. Do not wash with water, you’ll ruin them. I gently tap out excess and store in an area with air movement. The basket covers, I washed in vinegar water to avoid chemicals from detergents, rinsed in cold water and hung up to dry to avoid shrinkage. Great product and the little lines made by the basket make your boule look like a beautiful round made by a professional bread baker. Worth the cost for sure!
