It drives me crazy that this Is necessary because a regular usb cord doesn't work, but this cord works fine for what it does.

Great product used to connect external R0de microphone. Will not charge the phone will only work to attach microphone to Iphone USB_C to lightning cord!

This cable is so frickn expensive but it works with the rode software... thats about it -if you need to connect your mic to your phone you need a rode cable to adjust the audio.

Bought for Rodecaste Duo so to be able to use with my iPhone and it works. Too bad you have to order a special cable though just to do that. Regular USB-C cables do not work.

I thought $29 was too much for, well, any cable. So I bought a knock off and it stopped working after a few weeks. Coughed up the money for this. It's good, sturdy, nice thickish cable that I think will stand abuse as it bangs around in my camera bag.But 4 stars because I still think it's over-priced.

It’s a solid cord that connects my Rode mic to my iPhone 13 Pro Max. I tried another cord and it did not work. This is a must buy if you’re connecting to iPhone.

This does the job & connects well to my iphone. I highly recommend this as it works. When you need equipment to make equipment work well, then this is something you may want to consider.
