Iv never used a gimbal before but after using this I'm going to be using it as often as I can.This gimbal comes in a retail printed box in there is the gimbal, mini tripod, USB C charging cable and the user manual. I had a quick read of the user manual that's very straightforward to understand and gives clear instructions. The first thing you need to do is to download and install the AOCHUAN app from the play store and follow the instructions. The app is basically a camera app that links to the gimbal giving you full control of your phone via the gimbal.The gimbal is a 3 axis gimbal that is compatible with both android and iPhones and is very easy to use it has an oled display, a light on the back with 3 brightness settings. I like how you have full control over your phones camera with the gimbal from zooming in on people or objects and then you can adjust the camera focus if needed all with the gimbal.Some settings are customisable in the AOCHUAN app like zoom speed and gimbal movement. When moving the gimbal around the motor movement is almost silent and moves very freely. I love the face tracking feature, set the gimbal up on its tripod set it to face tracking and it will follow you around the room brilliant feature and works perfectly.I'm super impressed with this little gadget very well made and going to come in handy. Great price highly recommended.

This is very well made and well finished. It has decent weight too it - not too heavy, just right I think.I've never used a gimble before, so at first it seemed a bit fiddly and needed some patience to get the phone fixed in place and balanced nicely.There's a small tripod that comes with it, which easily fixes into the threaded handle - and I found this to be a more comfortable way to hold the gimbal, as it extends the handle further to make a longer grip.The instructions are very poor! Tiny book, small text, and a QR code that can be scanned but the website doesn't open. Searching YouTube does bring up a few videos though, which were a great help.Switching between the modes is easy enough, and in general I find it to work nicely, with the joystick manual control also being needed at times to keep it pointing where you want it.I'm still finding that it quite often seems to have a kind of its own though, randomly making sudden movements that are unwanted - there's a possibility its user error of course, and in time I may find a solution to prevent that.Downloading the app gives extra options for zoom and focus control and some other "scene" / "filter" type options - although I'd generally prefer to edit footage in post production; it's nice to have the option I guess.Overall this is a good gimbal and it's a reasonable price I think.

Got this for BTS footage of events. As content is used for shorts and Tiktok it needed to be portrait. Angle was always slightly crooked which added extra work when editing. Wouldn't recommend or repurchase.Hope that helps
