Quality of the product is absolutely fantastic. Until you use it for your rolling, tobacco, and and then it dries it out drier than a bucket of sand in the Sahara Desert within 5 minutes That's even after adding humidifier packs.... looks good but does not work

Thick leather. Well made. This should hold up well during my frequent hikes through the woods. The rolling paper slot is a nice feature even though I rarely use them. It's nice to have that option. The interior also has a thin, soft piece of leather sewn in that could be used to separate your tobacco from a pipe tool.

I took note of other reviews before purchase so had a few expectations. I did find that the tobacco would dry out very quickly, and the little pocket for papers was, well, too little. However, the bag itself is very sturdy and I like the size (not too big for my pants pocket). So, to remedy the drying issue (as well as to generally condition the leather anyway) I treated the bag inside and out with mink oil several times. The tobacco still dries faster than if it were in plastic (of course!), but it stays moist enough for two days (which is about all the tobacco I can fit in anyway). I keep my papers and filters in the inner pocket, so the "papers pocket" is useless but it all works out anyway. In the end, it's not a perfect pouch but I'm happy with it. After treating with mink oil it's really a handsome fella and I expect it to last me many, many years.

Buying a second one because my first one went missing under mysterious circumstances. I loved my pouch. Beautiful aesthetic and perfect function. I kept it in my pocket when grinding concrete and never had an issue with contamination. It perfectly fits a double book of bugler papers. I saw some complaints about tobacco drying out in it. You have to break it in. The fresh leather is thirsty. If you over saturate enough to pack it full, close it up tight, and place something on top for light pressure it will moisten the leather and help. After a month or so it balances out and adds a unique flavor to the tobacco, especially if you mix brands because theyll add more touches of flavor to the pouch. I had so many experimental batches that had seasoned my pouch and now its gone. Well worth the purchase

Was looking for a replacement for Peterson's pouch that lasted me four years of daily use, but I am disappointed. It's not entirely bad, but I'm afraid the maker of these doesn't use them themself. The leather is genuine, but very thick and hard, putting it in your pocket will either scratch you or be very uncomfortable. The separator for accessories often fails to separate tobacco from accessories as soon as you scoop tobacco out, because it's too short. Absence of any liner makes tobacco dry out in a few hours. The folds are a departure from decades-long tradition; they don't seal tobacco, but create more of an open pocket that holds it. But, construction and craftsmanship is great - could be used for something else other than intended purpose. Looks great - will make an impressive gift for someone who doesn't know any better. Going back to Peterson's.

Old school cool for the tobacco enthusiast or good photo prop for those old time photo re enactments

After FIVE years of daily use, this pouch shows no signs of wear. I ordered the light brown color and it was very light and not what I expected but after a few weeks of use it started to develop a nice patina and now looks like this.

I bought the brown one last year and the quality is so good. Been using for over a year and it's still going great. The tobacco inside remains moist all the time. It doesn't dried up. The pouch leather was hard in the beginning but it gets softer after a few months using. If you buy 50gm tobacco, it will not fit altogether in the pouch, 1/2 will be too much, 1/4 is perfect. It's very convenient if you're wearing jeans the pouch's 3/4th portion will easily go into your back pocket other 1/4th will remain visible. I bought the brown one because it's the only one that has the double window for the rolling papers. I am satisfied with the pouch. I would have bought another extra pouch in different colors if they had double window for rolling paper. Great find!!

I got this here as it was hard to find an actual.leatger pouch. It works so great and keeps moisture in the pouch.

Very well made with very nice leather. It could be just a bit larger to accommodate a standard pouch of tobacco and to hold a lighter and tool a little bit easier, but otherwise a quality product.
