Easy to see DC circuit breakers for RV'ing with Start and House battery banks.
We installed these in a motorhome to isolate the Start and House battery banks. They are easy to see and easy to use to manually separate the battery banks when dry camping. Both off, no drain back through alternator. Start off, House on, alternator charges only the House, and Start is isolated from house draw. Start on and House off when starting the engine. Both on when running down the road. Why not use an electronic isolator? Electronic isolators don't allow the alternator regulator to "see" the battery voltage, so the alternator can't regulate itself properly according to the needs of the separate battery banks.
