I ordered this last minute and had very little expectations. However, I was extremely happy with it the minute it arrived. I'm 5'2" and weigh 110 lbs. I ordered a size small and it was a tad bit loose. However, you can tie the attached cape around your waist, and in an instant, it becomes form fitting. Even being short myself, the skirt still was waayyy above my knee. However, I was comfortable with the length and wore black over the knee boots so the length was not a problem for me. Plus, the cape that wraps around you provides a little bit of coverage and gives you extra warmth.Is the quality of the material thick? Not at all. It's very thin. However, you're only wearing it for one night anyways so the thin material was a non issue for me. The red is extremely vibrant and it's very comfortable, unlike the other little red riding hood skanky costumes out there! You know, the ones that are super short and all look like oversexed Little Bo Peeps with thick layers of petticoats. This costume is much classier yet it is also sexy. As I like to call it, Gucci (a classy hoochie. lol!). But I have to warn you, the front chest area is very low and can expose much cleavage. I wore a tight black tank top underneath. I'm a mother of a 2 year old so I didn't want to accidentally flash anyone! I also found the choker to be useless. It didn't fit very well considering that it gets mixed up with the tie that you use to tie your cape. But you really didn't need it to complete the look. Also, it was nice that it came with black fishnet stockings. It's great if you don't have one. It's not the best quality, but it'll certainly do for the night. I opted to wear my own, but it was nice that it was included. Needless to say, my family and I got a lot of attention this Halloween (my daughter and I were both little red riding hoods and my husband was the big bad wolf). I would highly recommend this costume for anyone. It will make you look good and it will conform to your body.

I ordered this costume the day before Halloween and bought this on a whim. I ordered one day shipping, yet it arrived AFTER I finished taking my sister trick-or-treating (after 7 pm, although it had been out for delivery since 8:30 am). When I tried it on, I found the lace trim at the bottom was ripped in 2 places and the dress was WAAAY too short. I wore a black tank top to cover my cleavage and solid leggings to add a bit of modesty, but it still looked like a "sexy" costume. For the $30 I paid I expected much more from this. Besides that it's fairly pretty, although some thought it was a robe or lingerie. So it works if you're looking for sexy, but I would not recommend it otherwise. I'll be asking for a refund.

Well worth the price! Nicely made, the fabric is a touch thin for what one may expect of a velour-type material, but it also has a nice bit of stretch, which makes for a flattering fit. I am a short gal with a larger bottom/hips (5'2", size 6/8), and ordered the medium. That was the proper selection for this item. I will say, the front part is significantly short, much shorter than I would normally be comfortable with. I wore nude stockings under the included fishnets, which made me feel a bit less self-conscious about the exposure (and the man I was spending the evening with was vocal on how much he enjoyed the look!). I didn't wear the included choker, but the charm on it is quite cute and I'll likely use that bit on a chain.~The only reason this did not earn 5 stars was because of the shortness of the skirt in front, which distracted my attention somewhat (while walking, especially)~**SIDE NOTE: I did NOT use this as a Red Riding Hood dress! It made for the PERFECT, less common-looking female demon dress. I wore latex horns and proper demon-y makeup, and poof! You'd never know it was Red Riding Hood dress. Ergo, it's versatile for your Halloween/costuming needs! :) **

this costume looked like a bath robe. also, took a good 6 days to receive it. so i got it after the party i bought it for. luckily, i ordered a better looking costume that arrived on time. i called their cs who basically told me i got what i paid for. sent it back.

I am buying this for my 12 year old daughter that is 5'7, it is too short of a skirt for her,

I didn't know this before ordering, but the skirt and cape/hood are all attached/sewn together. I got confused when another reviewer wrote something to the effect of, "be careful when you bend over, as this garment is very short" because you will be mostly covered with this costume, as there's no option of separating the long cape/hood part from the 'mini dress' part. Not that you'd want to, but just sayin'. It is short, but as you can see in the photo, a lot of leg's visible only from a front view.I'm 5'8 135 lbs and got a size small, and it fits great. As another reviewer noted, the fabric's beautiful, and it's made very well, is extremely flattering, and has some stretch to it. I'm 23, wore it with exposed garter belt and thigh high stockings and tall leather boots, and it got a lot of compliments. If you shop for ladies' costumes at a store, nearly every one seems to made of the same stiff fabric, have the same cut/style, with different coloring being the only thing distinguishing a slutty nurse from a slutty cop from a slutty bee. If you don't have time to make your own costume, this is a nice choice that stands out among the sea of cookie-cutter looking ones out there for females. Very pretty, flattering, etc. Loved it.

I am like an size 8 and it fit me perfect the large. The costume was a one piece and doesn't look that picture but very similar (not in a better way)I think it will be warm and everyone in my office bought it was nice for the price. I will not wear the cheap necklace or the fish net stockings. I don't plan to look like a slut, I will ease red shoes and tights which I think is more motherly appropriate. I plan wear this to a kid costume event where I will be a judge for the city. The custume is nicer than expected but is ok for Halloween costumes you. Uh.
