easy to use, easy to clean, works well on chops

I like this product because it's solid, well made and easy to use, I like the fact the spikes are very sharp and generate the meat very easily and in so doing makes the meat very tender when cooked, very easily to clean, best meat tenderize I have ever use, I would recommend.

Works great, is best of both worlds--has piercing action as well as pounding. Knife cover plate is spring loaded such that it takes a bit of force to compress and expose the knifes, this provides a moderate pounding action before the knifes protrude and pierce the meat fully.I used it on deer backstraps and it tenderized them to the point of making them easy to cut with a fork after cooking.Is easy to clean the outer rows of blades, but the middle row is a challenge. I ended up using a long bristled kitchen sink brush and bleach and hoping for the best. Is not really possible to get 'touch' access to the inner row of blades. If I buy again, I'll get the two-row version for that reason. It really doesn't take long to use so a few extra pounds on the meat will take an insignificant amount of time vs. the time I spent trying to get it clean.

I have owned this meat tenderizer for approximately 3 years, and absolutely love it. Easy to use and clean, very easy to clean. In 3 years, the stainless steel prongs are still sharp and shining, no dulling, rusting or tarnishing. Highly recommend.

It works very well. It's hard not to tenderize the meat when you're literally stabbing it a million times. I use it on a bottom blade roast and I cooking up on the grill and eat it like a steak, so it's not like I'm using this on a tender cut of meat. It works well, I recommend putting the meat in the freezer a bit before using it so that it firms up a little. This way, you tenderize the meat without flattening it as much. I was reaching in my bag and yanked something out, accidentally launching the product, sending it sailing through the air and landing on the hard tiles in the laundry room. Not a scratch, works like a charm. Sturdy to say the least, although I really don't intend on testing further.

This is a very good meat tenderizer tool. The only thing myself and my hubby don't like about it, is that it flattens out your steak or pork chop etc. I suppose they are all like that but it is rather annoying. On a roast it wouldn't matter but on steaks it just flattens them out too much. Most people probably don't care about that, but we do. Other than that I can see that this tool should last a long time as it is well made.
