This product contains the plant-derived laxative senna glycoside. It's the standard 8.6 mg tablet size found in brand name Ex-Lax and Senokot. This is a tablet, not the chewable chocolate wafer. Senna is a milder laxative than bisacodyl (brand name Dulcolax), and many people find it to cause less cramping and urgency than bisacodyl.Quality and value of this generic formulation is excellent. The price is lower than any I've found in local stores. The seller I purchased from sent new product with 33 months until the expiration date (it's labeled with a 36 month expiration date at the time of production), which is a consideration given the number of tablets in the package.

Good product. I have tried many different ways to relieve constipation. There are many drawbacks to the other ways. This one works. I had to get the dosage right. Sometimes I would get runny. But I would rather be runny than sitting on toilet for 30 minutes, grunting, straining & getting hemorrhoids. I am on a Ketogenic diet. I have never been constipated for 57 years until I started this diet. Now that I have found a solution with the Senna, I can scratch constipation off my list of problems with Keto Diet (I love the diet, lost 68 lbs so far in 7 months.)

These were available at a great price. After surgery, I was on pain pills and some help was needed. Fast delivery. Do not seem as potent as the name brand Senokot, but two tabs does the trick overnite..

I like that Senna is all natural and that is the number one reason I tried these out, however for me this just does not cut it as a laxative, even when I have taken three pills several nights a week I don't get any action. If you are thinking of using these for opiate induced constipation look else where for a more powerful laxative. For more mild constipation maybe these would work for you. Good luck.
