Techy Toothbrush
Scrolling through Amazon for deals left me flicking through and trying to decide on which electric toothbrush to upgrade to, I’m a long time manual user and have felt that recently my oral health isn’t the best it could be so I decided to take a punt at investing in an electric brush. I’ve always regarded Oral B as a reliable oral brand so I was pleased to find this within my price range!I didn’t have to wait for long for this to be delivered and I was quickly connecting my brush to my phone (who knew!?!) so it can track my daily brushing routine using the really easy and straightforward instructions, it took less than 5 minutes!I have to say, I feel like I get a really deep clean with this and I like how I can easily see whether I’m brushing too hard or too soft with the sensor that’s inbuilt to the brush. Brushing feels a breeze with the iO4.One thing that I did feel let this down is the battery life, the brush seems to run down the battery quite quickly but as long as you charge every other day you should be fine and it’s not surprising considering the technology the brush gives you.If you’re looking for a more affordable, sleek and techy electric upgrade I would definitely go for the iO4!

So, let's design a toothbrush with four cleaning modes. Yup, that sounds pretty useful. Now, let's include a mode selector button on the body of the toothbrush. Cool, just what the user would want. Only thing is, we won't actually let the user know which mode has been selected. No, instead we'll get them to download an app to show which mode they've selected.Jeez, how did this design ever get the sign-off? This brush is a grotesque example of needless, pointless, over-engineering. Isn't there a saying about technology along the lines of "just because you can, doesn't mean you should"?Oh, and like the experience of many other users, the battery life has plummeted after a few months use. All in all, an expensive mistake, stick with something gimmick-free at half the price.

Great toothbrush
I have had this toothbrush about a week now and so far I'm really impressed with it. At first I thought the head felt really big but once you get used to it you realize it's just about perfect as it cleans the gums too. The brush itself does feel quite bulky, but it does feel well made.The price is a little high for what it is, and all the Bluetooth gimmicks are a bit pointless. However it cleans really well, way better than my old cheapo "sonic" toothbrush, and way better than I can do manually. So it got me thinking, if it cleans this well surely you end up saving money at the dentist or at the very least have a way healthier mouth.I have noticed in the mornings I no longer have that morning mouth feel, it has just about vanished.I always used to clean my teeth 3 times a day, and use a interdental brush. But the results with this brush are honestly day and night.I haven't experienced any problems with the charging or anything yet. It comes with a 2 prong plug so you will need one of the cheapo 99p shaver plugs for it to plug into.So yes I definitely would buy it again and recommend it.
