High quality dish pad — totally worth the buy!
This is the best dish drying pad I’ve owned. It looks luxurious in my kitchen but is also very functional & durable. I love the color & how neutral it is. It dries insanely fast & doesn’t leave a stale mildewy smell. Previous dish pads I’ve had would stay soggy for so long that it would just be sitting there gross all day. They were also awkward to store because I wouldn’t want to put it away while it was still wet. The thinness & foldable design of this dish pad makes it super easy to store. It’s super versatile with how you can use + store it. I did a lot of research when deciding what brand to get, but I decided to go with this brand instead of the cheap knockoff brands. It feels a lot more durable & higher quality than other cheap stone home products I’ve used before, & honestly does feel worth the higher price point for the quality. It also makes me feel good about supporting a small business in the US rather than just a dupe from overseas where I don’t know if it’s passed FDA testing or anything like that. I’ve found that this dish pad lasts a lot longer than other stone home products I’ve had when I periodically clean it & keep up on taking care of it. It comes with sandpaper that you can use to buff out any light stains, & I’ve found you can also use clear soap + a sponge, a little vinegar, or hydrogen peroxide if you have any tougher stains. I haven’t had any issues with lingering moisture, because I wipe down the countertop frequently so I’m not leaving moisture trapped underneath it. Overall I’m really impressed with my experience with this dish pad & its quality. I would genuinely recommend it to anyone considering or on the fence. It’s been totally worth it. I’ll definitely be using more of this brand’s products moving forward!

Game Changer For My Counters - Actually Dries Instantly!
I finally decided to ditch my old microfiber drying mats that always ended up smelling a bit musty, and I am so glad I switched to the Dorai Dish Pad. The "magic" here is definitely the diatomaceous stone. It’s pretty wild to watch—you set a soaking wet glass down, and you can literally see the water being pulled into the stone and disappearing. It dries incredibly fast, which means I don’t have a soggy mat sitting on my counter all day long. One thing I didn’t expect to love it for is washing fruit. I’ve started laying my grapes and apples out on this after rinsing them, and it’s perfect. It sucks the water off the fruit way faster than a paper towel or a regular dish cloth, so they don’t get mushy. Some of the reasons why I love it: 1. Insanely fast drying: No more puddles or damp smells. No more worry about mold. 2. Sleek look: It looks much higher-end than a standard plastic rack or cloth mat. 3. Easy storage: I love that it folds up so I can tuck it away when I have company. It is a bit of an investment compared to cheap mats, but honestly, for the hygiene and performance, it’s worth every penny. If you’re on the fence, just get it. It keeps the kitchen looking clean and actually does what it claims to do!

Looks good and works!
My husband insists on handwashing at least half of our dishes and while I appreciate his diligence in protecting our good silverware and such, I hate how it looks on the countertop. Until now. I love the look of this drying pad as well as how quickly it dries and can be put away. Worth the $.

Steer clear and AVOID AT ALL COSTS
I NEVER write reviews so please trust me when I say, this is a horrible product. Yes it looks lovely. Yes it is clean and minimal and aesthetic. But does it work? No. It gets moldy in all its silicone cover corners and if you don’t give it a good, deep scrub at least once a week, your dishes are essentially drying on a bed of mould. The stone itself doesn’t just magically dry up. Under the stone, I always find a pool of water collecting. I feel live I’ve been catfished! I’ve had this for over a year and am over it. If I reviewed this a week after arrival even I would have said “wow amazing” but having used it regularly, I know better. Please skip. And Dorai- I would LOVE to hear from you on this! (The last shot features the bottom stone flipped over upright. I was scrubbing it down with soap. You’ll notice that the stains are still present!)

Six-Month Review: A GREAT alternative to drain board/towel/other options.
Have had for six months, and this is a fantastic option from Dorai! I live in a small, restored farm house there is minimal counter and cabinet space in the kitchen, a small double compartment sink, and no dish washer - so yeah, this gets used! A small drain rack for one of the compartments would not have worked well, and counter top drain racks are bulky - these are also hard to clean properly, can rust if not plastic, hard to store when there is not a lot of cabinet space either. Dorai to the rescue, truthfully! The Diatomaceous stone works as advertised. I love the silicon cover that allows the dishware to be raised up a little bit, and it protects the stone and counter from each other (DO NOT USE WITH MARBLE countertops per the company instructions though. I love that I can take the silicon off to clean it. I read reviews and remember some saying it mildews, I HAVE NOT had this problem at all. A tip, the mat does beautifully to soak up water and dry out, but I still generally let a lot of water drip off in the sink before putting onto the stone. If A LOT of water collects in a section of the honeycomb-ish silicon cover, I do a quick dab up with a clean, dry towel so the mat can absorb and dry out more efficiently. Perhaps this is how I avoid mildew? MUST HAVE for people handwashing a lot of dishes!

Light color shows stains way too much.
It works as advertised, an upgrade from using a towel that would get soaked and smelly. I would have chosen the darker color because the e light grey shows stains way too easily and scrubbing it off is becoming a chore. Also I would prefer not having the silicon. Water pools there and I have to wipe it off.

Fast drying and folds away - I love it!
I’ve always used dish towels or a dish rack, but the Dorai Dish Pad completely changed my mind. It absorbs water quickly and dries almost instantly, so there’s no damp, musty feeling like with towels. What I love most is how easy it is to store—it folds up and takes up way less space than a bulky dish rack. It keeps my counter looking clean and uncluttered. Overall, a super practical, space-saving option that I didn’t expect to love this much and never knew I needed until I tried it.

Mould and discolouration - zero stars
Bought it 6 weeks ago. Unfortunately, as in the picture, it turned yellowish and started moulding.

Love my dry mat
Yea it’s expensive but I threw out all my cloth dry last. This one absorbs so well and looks so nice on the counter. You can fold it up if u wish but I leave it on my counter. So many stated it stained and provided a poor review. Well you shouldn’t place anything that will stain on it. It’s meant for glasses dishes and cutlery. If an item may extract a liquid other than clear don’t place it on the mat.

Compact, functional and stylish
I have never owned a more stylish dish drying mat. It is easy to store and dries very quickly. The silicon cover protects glasses and breakables, yet provides sufficient drying functionality. I would recommend this and this would make a great House warming gift!
