Review: Silicone mats to the rescue! - These silicone mats are perfectly marvelous! I have natural wood butcher block countertops and I purchased these to sit on either side of the sink, to protect from dirty dishes and splashing water. They are the perfect size for this, and even though I’ve added a poly coat to the counter by the sink, I like the additional protection. I like these mats so well, I plan to order 2 more to sit on the countertops on either side of the stove! Those countertops are oiled with food safe oil and I like having an additional barrier there as well!
