Moen Karis Matte Black Single-Hole Bath Faucet

The Moen 84346SRN Karis faucet in Spot Resist Brushed Nickel is an excellent upgrade and well worth the investment. The finish looks modern and high-end, and it truly lives up to the “spot resist” claim—water spots and fingerprints are barely noticeable, which keeps the faucet looking clean with minimal effort. Installation was straightforward, even for a DIY project, and all the necessary hardware was included. The handle operates smoothly, water flow is consistent, and the temperature control is precise. It feels solid and well-made, exactly what you’d expect from Moen. Beyond appearance, the faucet performs flawlessly in daily use and adds a polished look to the bathroom. With great build quality, easy maintenance, and Moen’s strong reputation for reliability, this faucet earns a full five stars without hesitation.

Well made single handle faucet that we bought to replace the double handle faucets in our new home. Very easy to control the water temperature. They were also easy to install. The drain stop is different in that all you do is push down on the drain and it seals and keeps the water from draining. Push down on it again and it opens up.

Nice faucet, looks modern. I didn't like the low water flow so I fixed it. There's a tiny little rubber o ring inside the aerator. You have to use the included plastic key to remove it so keep it safe somewhere and don't forget where you put it. Once you loosen and unscrew the aerator, there's a plastic screen you have to split open. Either use your fingernail or a knife to get it open and don't do this over the sink. Parts may fly all over. Once inside the plastic screen you'll see a tiny black circle in the center part of the plastic aerator. Pry that out and reassemble the screen, place it back into the aerator and screw it back into the faucet, tightening it with the key. Now I have strong water flow and can control it instead of having to tolerate only the stock low flow limitations. It's amazing that that one tiny o ring is capable of restricting water so effectively. Get rid of it. I did the same thing to my shower head when I got it a few years ago and really like the heavy water flow better than the weak spray it used to have. Something to consider. Otherwise the faucet is solid and nice looking and is functional 👍

Under no circumstances would I give a negative rating to a product or a company without a good reason. A couple of weeks ago, I decided to replace the sink in one of my bathrooms. I thought it might also be a good time to update the faucet as well. I looked on Amazon and found the Moen 84346, which appeared to be a high quality product, so I placed an order for two. I also ordered two separate Moen pop up sink drain stoppers. When the faucets arrived, I discovered that they included the pop up stoppers so I returned the two unopened ones to Amazon and received a prompt credit. When I went to install the stoppers, I discovered that they are made of thin plastic. They are of such low quality. Keep in mind, I'm just a homeowner and not a professional, so they may last for many years. I chose not to install them and reordered the two I'd returned to Amazon. They'll arrive tomorrow, but in the meantime, I'm having to wait until the job is finished to use the new sink. I sincerely hope Moen reads this review and reaches out to me as I'd like to discuss this issue with them. As for the faucet, it looks nice and seems of high quality. That said, I really haven't had an opportunity to use it as the sink doesn't have a drain installed yet. I've only tested it in a bucket.

The style of this Moen Karis faucet is clean and modern. Water easily wipes off of the brushed nickel finish, and the amount of water it produces is more than adequate. The spout extends further into the sink than my previous faucet, so less water ends up on the counter. My one complaint is that the gasket that seats the drain into the sink opening is thin and flimsy. It leaked, so we eliminated the gasket and instead applied plumber’s putty in that location. We also used waterproof silicone caulk under the sink at the top of the cone gasket. After allowing it to dry overnight, the leaking was eliminated. Love my Moen faucets so far!

As expected Moen does an excellent job! A robust product with lifetime warranty faucet in the powder room is a no brainer. In particular that this one is coming with a pop up drain assembly.

Its nice but the flow is meh but its for the washroom who needs a geyser?
