I really love this retractable dog leash. It extends out to 16 feet which makes it so I don’t have to step foot in the grass and on the landmines of dog poo. Speaking of which, this leash comes with its own baggie holder in the shape of a bone. I live in an apartment complex and we are required to pick up after our dogs so this “bag dispenser” and included baggie comes in handy. I’ve had cheap retractable leashes in the past and one of their main flaws was that after a few uses, the leash would no longer retract making it pretty much useless. With this new TaoTronics leash, I’ve tested it for over a week now multiple times daily and have had no issues thus far. The one hand braking feature is really nice and lets me keep my dog close when needed. In the past, the cheap leash I used to have would unlock by itself at the slightest tug but the TaoTronics leash has held her firmly in place regardless of how hard she tries to pull. The overall build quality is very nice for this leash and I’ve actually dropped it a few times without any issues. Overall, I would highly suggest this retractable leash to anyone looking for something similar.

This is a great retractable dog leash for my large poodle (65 lbs). She is a very powerful pup. We live in a rural area and I like to give her a bit of freedom on long walks. 16 ft. of freedom to be exact. Over the last 7 years I've tried out many different styles of leashes.The is ergonomic handle fits nicely to my hand, and it is easy to use one-handed. I can let her run, or rein her in just as easily. The leash is a nice grade of nylon and has not tangled so far like previous retractable leashes. The hook is the perfect size, and the attached bone for the bags is an added and appreciated convenience. The leash lock helps me keep her safe.The leash recoil or rewind works smoothly and I can pull her in quickly in case of advancing walkers or cars.Nikita loves the outdoors and loves to explore. This retractable leash helps me keep up with her while giving her a sense of freedom.

Amazing quality – the best dog leash I've owned! I'm truly impressed with the design and how well it functions (my last retractable leash lasted just a few weeks). My dog is a 80 pound pit bull and walking is a breeze with this leash!
