Methuselah Project S.O.S. Paperback – October 19, 2020

I love a good story and this one didn't disappoint.I enjoyed following the characters as they were developed. The author did a great job of having the key characters encounter challenges and grow through them. To me that makes the story real as I can identify with the key characters, and 'cheer' them on through the story. Of course there are some villians as well who you just love to root against, even when they rally and seem to be getting the upper hand for the time.The plot-line was great as well. I enjoy a story which is believable and firmly based in reality but fantastic enough to make you wonder what is going to happen next. Some great plot twists and turns happen throughout this story. The story pulled me in and didn't let me go until I finished the book. As all good books should, it costed me a few hours of sleep when I couldn't put it down at night.If you love a good story with some spy-craft, some technology a little past today's capabilities (or is it?), some global domination, a love story, and characters whose faith is tested you will love this book! Give it a read,

Gripping, riveting, taut, and extraordinarily well-crafted. At times so tense you want to stop reading but you can’t because you’re too hooked to let go! A persistent page-turner! This one is a keeper with relentless and chest-grabbing danger combined with very satisfying elements of abiding faith and true love. All in all, an amazing novel; one I thoroughly enjoyed and very highly recommend.

Excellent sequel to The Methuselah Project. Roger is forced to go inside the guts of the modern ‘Nazi’ Heritage Organization and make it out alive. Realistic characters, exciting plot.

This is an amazing sequel to an already amazing storyline. Action, adventure, passion, with a sprinkling of the super heroic that will leave you asking when another book will come out sharing more stories from the imagination of Rick Barry. You can read as a stand-alone, but you will want to be sure to go back and read book one to see how it all began.

So many books have cursing and non essential violence to bolster the evil details that just aren't necessary. It's refreshing to read a Christian author with a fantastic gift of storytelling?. Thank you Rick. On to book 2!

A great fast-paced thriller-spy book. While it's a stand alone book, I'd recommend reading the first one to get the whole picture of the back story. Spiced with romance between the main characters and banter with the secondary characters along with some reference to the main characters' faith to draw you in deeper. I'd see this as a great action movie, btw!

I haven't encountered a book quite like this one before. As a superhero (Marvel/DC Comics fan) this book immediately made me think of Captain America as the basis of it is pretty similar. This is the sequel to "The Methuselah Project but it can be read as a stand alone novel. I didn't have any problems following the story or who the characters were.The characters definitely see a lot of action and the book is very fast paced so it definitely holds your interest. There is even some romance amongst all the suspense!Overall I thought it was a pretty good read even if its was out of my comfort zone as far as genres go. If you enjoy WWII fiction, sci-fi, superheroes all with a Christian twist then this is definitely the book for you!Rating; 3.5 Stars!I received a copy of this book from the author. As a fan of WW2 historical fiction, I highly recommend Methuselah Project to readers of both genders. Mr Barry has accomplished a delightful mix of historical fact, SciFi fantasy, great characterization, witty dialogue, faith, AND romance. Well done!
