The iAlegant Ultrabook sleeve is a great option to consider if you're looking for a form fitting sleeve for a new 2018 MacBook Air 13" or current generation MacBook Pro laptop. I specifically chose the iAlegant because of the built in stand which tilts the keyboard and makes typing much more comfortable.Everyone loves the way it looks when I take it out of my desk or backpack. A rare occurrence in today's age.After a month of use, I can say that it's "OK" but, not as good as the Omoton cases I have for my 12" MacBooks. Why?A: It's VERY TIGHT and makes sliding the laptop in and out much more effort than the task should take.B: The brushed suede PU leather looks great but is already starting to show some scuffing from going in and out of my backpack.C: General dimensions seem geared for a MacBook Pro and not MacBook Air.I believe that part of this is the price point - but, in truth, the price was less important to me than the functionality. We will see how well it holds up over time.But depending on your priorities and given it's low price, the iAlegant is a viable option for a MacBook sleeve.

The concept of this case is great, but unfortunately, the case is a big no-no for me:- The magnets that shut the case is absolutely worthless. Turning the case around with my computer inside will literally open the case with the weight of the computer.- The fabric looks nice, but it feels cheap in the hand... and when I say cheap, I mean very cheap.- If your computer is exactly a 13in the case will have about 3/4's of an inch of space of vacant room inside. In other words, the computer is moveable inside the case.Would I say its worth the price? Probably. The sleeve is very cheap in comparison to most on Amazon, and my hope would be that this was one of those products that you go "wow, this could've been $50!" -- however, its the opposite. I opened the package, felt it, tested and instantly thought: "gonna return it."

The sleeve is as pictures and functions as you expect. The material feels like a soft suede and seems to be holding up for the month that I have been using it. None of the seems are starting to tear, so I think the quality of the item is satisfactory. The sleeve doesn't get dirty either, which is another plus.

I originally bought this case a) because of how it looks and b) because I thought being able to prop my laptop up would be a comfortable way to use it. The propping thing never seemed to work the way I intended, but I LOVE this laptop case. I bought my first one about 8 months ago in light grey and just bought a new one in dark blue (the grey got dirty with a lot of use). Aside from being very thin, which I really like, my favorite thing about it is keeps my laptop from sliding. I often am working on trains, subways, cars, etc and if I have the case between my computer and lap, it's so much easier to type. It's been such a game changer for me. I've also gotten compliments on its appearance and it's very durable. I highly recommend this laptop case.

After less than 1 month the flap to hold the laptop up was mashed down and thus it’s now only usable as a laptop cover, not a stand. Disappointed. I specifically ordered this model to be able to prop up my laptop to prevent it from overheating while working.

First, the case is very stylish and eye-catching. I purchased this case mainly because of the appearance so I'm pretty happy about that. However, this case is definitely not durable. I think it can only prevent surface scratch. If you drop the laptop with the case on, I don't think this case is solid enough to prevent any damage. I do own another case so I know what a durable case is. Also, the case is little small, it takes some effort for you to pull the laptop out. It is getting better after some time though.Overall, I think this case is attractive and can prevent scratch, but definitely not the solid type of case.

I'm fairly happy with this product. The photo describes the case as being protective of the laptop corners if dropped, but this claim is totally bogus. The 15degree stand wasn't something I cared about when I got it, but actually I find it comfortable and it helps with ventilation. I also notice something about "invisible velcro closure" in the product description; not that it matters, but there is no velcro. But it works well as a standard laptop sleeve, and I would buy it again.

with daily use, the clap doesn't prop my laptop up anymore (barely 3 months later)... i wish it was made from a more durable material. the case itself is fine. the dark blue colour is aesthetically pleasing, and i've gotten compliments for the case itself.overall, not a bad purchase but i don't recommend it solely on the durability of the makeshift stand.
