Using it to duct a diesel heater up to a roof top tent, works well, does not seem to be affected by the heat

It works as it is intended. I am using this on the air vent intake to help pull warmer air from my tent when using it on my portable diesel heater.

The hose is as described. I would like to add, however, that I bought the product for use in my vehicle in my dash. With that said, it is extremely strong, and also heavy duty. As much as I wanted for it to work, it will not. Even though my ducting is 3", this is just a little too small, it won't stretch around the ducts. Almost any other vent hose would have tore had I put it through what I put this stuff through. I am currently using it, but sadly, it won't be permanent. I'll get more in the next size up.

I used this as a cold air intake for my pellet stove.I could confirm it to exactly what I needed and didn't have to cut it.

"Four layers" implies insulation. But the "layers" are less than paper-thin. Also I had difficulty installing the hose because the wire coil reinforcement is a fraction too large in diameter. And, because the coils are widely spaced, the plastic hose tends to bunch up between them, so you get inadequate air flow.Pretty much useless for me.

Quality seems decent on this hose. It does let off a strong chemical smell when blowing hot air through it.

I bought this for my boyfriend last year because he wanted to extend the air conditioning hose to reach a very high window. It fit perfectly and has held up the entire time. Our blinds are constantly rubbing against it and it has no damage.

Excellent from perspective that it was just over 8' vs some options that were much longer than I would have needed. Easy to install. Was not as 'rigid' as the one I was replacing, which I think will be a good thing. Being black was a fun feature!
