Black & Decker BL2010WG 10 Speed Glass Blender, White

I love this blender. This glass blender is ideal for any blending job you need, sauces, soups, Margaritas, etc! It is very sturdy, easy to use, and I can put it in the glass jar and plastic top in the dishwasher. It's very powerful considering that something with this much power could cost a hundred dollars more. I have the same model in our vacation home too. Doesn't take up much space and the cord can be tucked away underneath the main base. I would highly recommend this product, both because of price and power. You can't beat it!

Nice blender! It's small, compact, works great and has a nice price. We needed something white to go with our kitchen and this was a great product to get. Nice quality for a good price.

I finally replaced a blinder that I'd had since May 1976 (Harvest Gold) LOL! This is great. Only $20. Not a bad price increase. One neat feature to consider that is not mentioned in the description is that the cord wraps around underneath and stays out of site. I like that. Looks nice next to my white coffee maker and white waffle maker.

I don't use my blender very much, and it is in great condition after a number of years. I like the way it disassembles to clean easily. However, it started to leak liquid - then I noticed that the plastic part that holds the blades is cracked. I am going to try to replace this part with an all-metal replacement, cost of $8. I don't think that Black and Decker used appropriate materials for this part, since other people also have this complaint.

I love that it is easy to use and powerful. Easy to clean.We enjoy very much making smoothies! I make green juice and smoothies on a regular basis and it's amazing how smooth and creamy are with the blender.

I have had this blender for about three years but have used it infrequently--probably about 20 to 30 times at most. It functioned very well and did exactly what I needed it to do. But suddenly it stopped working. Nada. It didn't struggle with a heavy load (I was making a fruit smoothie), it didn't burn out. It just stopped. That is, I blended for a short while, stopped, and then pushed the button again. No go. I'm very disappointed in it.

I bought this on sale at a Macy's store and regretted it about 3 months later as a key part cracked and made this unusable. The part that broke is the plastic grooved disk attached to the motor casing on which you sit the jug. That is, the pin that turns has around it a cogged or grooved disk on which you sit the pitcher so it rotates the bottom of the jub when the motor is on. This grey piece of plastic just snapped in half one day when I was grinding up something and it wasn't anything too hard or rocky like ice cubes. Basically, this piece of plastic is a poor design -- it probably should be a heavier plastic or metal and should be more than "glued" on to the pin that is rotated by the motor. While I only paid $20 plus tax for the item (on sale) it is a total aggravation when you get something like this that you use quite often and to have it snap in the middle of use is annoying. So now I have to lug this item back to the store and see if I can get a refund or store credit. AGGRAVATION!!!
