This are great for putting unofficial miniatures on a grid system when the figurine's original shape was less obvious visually on a grid until I added the Huge Base using super glue.I've even used these to convert off-size MageKnight minis into D&D minis and have glue old pewter minis (with ill-balanced bases) to these black plastic bases.The only problem here is that the Huge tiles are SO EXPENSIVE!. The listed price is for just one. This is the only size of these bases I find to be price-gouging.

I don't rate products based on cost, because I've seen prices on Amazon actually double or halve for the same item. That said, I agree that this item is overpriced compared to the 10 one-inch bases or 5 two-inch bases you get for a couple dollars more. Based off the other sizes, I would expect 2 bases at this price.However, the product itself is quite nice if you are looking for a flat, black acrylic display base. I also ordered the four inch size (see first photo) and, like that one, this one is beautifully smooth and attractive. The edge is not smoothly round but is cut in small segments, but (unlike the one-inch size where this is much more conspicuous) looks acceptable. I've used these for displaying various space models and figures and they look great. If I need another one in this size, I won't hesitate to order again--though it would be nice to get 2 for this price.

The product is exactly what it says it is. I'm not sure why I ordered it, it said "great for miniatures" and I guess that's what it can be used for, but all it is is a small plastic black disk. However the cost is a little bizarre. You could get 6 plastic disks of the same size elsewhere for less than this cost. I'd get this if I wanted a display disk that I didn't want to cover up, but I like to base my miniatures on terrain and that means covering up the pretty glossy mirror black plastic. I'm giving them 4 stars because their service was fast and I literally got what I bought so it's on me for not looking further abroad. I just won't be buying again because that cost for a single plastic cut disk that I plan to cover up isn't worth it.

This was very overpriced for a round black plastic cut out. I got it as a test for my needs, and based on the price I won't be ordering anything else like this from them. It was as advertised, but not a great value.

These have the glassy finish of plexiglass and the edges have a strangely faceted appearance rather than a uniform clean curvature.

Works great for my minis, but it was a little on the expensive side. They paint up and texture very nicely. My only complaint is the price.
