Perfect for our rabbit! Absorbent, odor-controlling, very low dust
I honestly can't say enough good things about this product for use with our Flemish Giant. I have a very sensitive nose and absolutely hate "odor control" products that lay on so much scent that it's worse than what it's trying to cover up. This product has a very clean, very neutral smell that I find refreshing and makes the room it's used in smell fresh. We use a small amount of baking soda on the bottom of the pan along the edges the rabbit uses the most, but it's only for whatever makes it to the bottom of the bedding. The bedding is very absorbent and while it doesn't technically "clump" the way cat litter does, it does end up providing pretty easy scooping out of the box where the rabbit does most of his business. I have no problem using a slotted litter scoop to pick up the pellets and shake out the bedding, leaving most of the clean bedding in the box. While there are some pretty large bedding pellets that get picked up along the way, it's not enough to make it impractical to use the method I've got for cleaning the box.Given how important it is to use low-dust bedding for rabbits, this works perfectly. Even when it gets down to the dregs of the bag the smallest particles of the bedding are still much larger than dust. Pouring doesn't kick up anything into the air either so you know it's pretty clean. If I had to find something that I would ding the otherwise stellar product it would be that the heat-sealing of the bag is often done to close to the plastic press-seal strip. I often have to cut right along the plastic strip with makes it very hard to actually pull the bag open. But it's a minor quibble in an otherwise great product. If the price would just stabilize (it can fluctuate by 50% over a few weeks!) this would be the perfect product.Still, overall, I don't think you can find a better bedding for a rabbit.

I Think This Is The Best Bedding I Have Found Yet!!!!
Over the years I have tried many kinds of small pet bedding (wood chips, paper, fleece, cotton, ect...). I now have 2 Guinea Pigs that were left in my care. They are in a very large cage and I have been using Carefresh and others like it trying to find one that helps with odor. The cage corners are scooped out 2 times a week as this is were they potty with fresh bedding added. Still the odor can be smelled even before you get to the door of the room. I bought a bag of this to try at a local pet store. I got 1 that was the one shown & 1 with the lavender in it. I have to say that this stuff works really well. The feces & urine are dried out in no time and this is day number 4 with no odor. I add the lavender one just to the corners for an extra scent to help. I went to scoop the cage today and to my surprise it was completely odorless and everything (corners & all) were dry.I have seen where others have said that it is messy & kicked out of the cage. Well I had to use a shop vac to clean up the floor with the Carefresh because it would stop up a reg. vac. I have yet to find any of this in the floor. I take my scooper & spread it out evenly every other day. The piggies seem to love it and their cage not only had been odor free but looks so much nicer & cleaner too. And a little bit goes a long way. At any rate to me it's still worth the money!!

My Personal Favorite
This ferret bedding is the best that I have used since I have had my little ones. Despite my ferrets capability to use a litter box, majority of the time they are happy to just poop/pee in any corner they come across and this bedding works amazingly with the little stubborn babies. Their cage is scooped everyday and completely dumped twice a week, however a bag this size will easily last over a month. It's incredibly absorbent to take care of those little messes with they're too lazy to use their litter box and makes it super easy for it to be cleaned up. It's very soft, which I like, so they're not walking on a hard, plastic cage bottom. Being granules it's not only very easy to cover the entirety of the bottom of there cage without using a whole lot of the product, but it is also very easy to clean up. When they make a mess coming out of the cage or just being goofing and throwing it all over the floor, it's extremely easy to vacuum up and does not clog the vacuum cleaner at all. It also does wonders to help control the smell of their little butts, though some smell does exist, it's not near as strong as it has been with other beddings.

Great smell bad for breathing
Loved it for my daughter’s piggies!Smells greatBUTAfter taking her younger guinea pig to the veterinarian, we learned the fragrance in bedding is actually harmful to their respiratory systems. Guinea pigs are prone to developing health issues and allergies.Just as it would be for a human, fragrances are not always the best idea and this was actually causing our littlest piggy to develop some pretty bad allergies and even making my daughter sneeze from the powder that was released every time the bedding was stirred. In comparison to the more popular bedding, it creates less dust and less mess. Our littlest piggy is a breed with a short nose so he has to lift his head when he drinks and gets a cold faster and longer than his brother. If you love your piggy, shop a brand that is more environmentally conscious and better for their respiratory systems. There are plenty of unbleached, unscented, dust free, chemical free. I’d recommend SMALL PET SELECT PREMIUM SMALL ANIMAL BEDDING.

Is a much cleaner product to use
It does not absorb and smell like past beddings have.

Glad I bought this...great money saver!
Great product, only issue is the clumping that can harden easily against the litter tray. Works very well tho.
