The papers fit the cover nicely and the booklet is easy to use and folds in half and lays flat. It is great for note taking and writing down any thoughts (don't forget items), etc.

I am a fan of the Tul jr notebook system. Love that I can remove/insert pages as I need them.

this item was exactly as described and exactly what I wanted.

I have disc-bound notebooks from Atoma (expensive) and Eagle (cheap). The Atoma turns out to be a weird size that is neither A5 internation standard nor any kind of US standard. I do love the disc binding system but of course the paper selection is extremely limited. This paper is US standard half letter and is sized identical to the Eagle paper, and the light gray printing looks virtually identical, so I was expecting it to be the same paper. It is not. This is noticeably thicker, smoother, a bit lighter white. It takes watery fountain pen ink very very nicely. Very little feathering and little bleed through to the other side. Even thick juicy lines from a flex nib dry fairly quickly. Most average papers and even expensive notebook papers do NOT take fountain pen ink well at all, and if they don't feather or bleed much, then the ink may take many minutes to dry and really need blotting. (Tomoe River, for instance.) I don't feel the need to blot this paper. Well done. It's very smooth, so my very thin scratchy flex nibs tend not to catch on the up strokes, very nice. I would say this is all around the best FP paper I have tried in many years. That said, I would much prefer some other options like cream color, plain with no rule, and dot grid, as you can get with other high end notebook lines. The ruling lines on this paper are actually tiny dots, a little lighter than the Eagle paper, though to my mind could be much fainter still. Also they say "100 pages" which is simply ludicrous - the package contains 50 sheets of paper, which is not much paper. You do not see reams of blank copy paper claiming to have 1000 pages (erm, well, that is, 500 sheets). I give this four stars, with the understanding that I've never seen a five-star paper, and almost everything else is three or less.

These are the actual Tul system pages. The weight of the paper & narrow ruling make it great for notes. I've used off -brand replacement pages, but none are as nice or fit as well as these. Any notes I believe I will need to keep for a significant time are on Tul pages. Especially since the paper is heavy enough to use both sides with a fountain pen without bleed-through.
