This book is so good! It has a lot of plot twists and is wonderfully written! I cannot wait to read book 2!

I read this book in about 2 days. I couldn’t stop. I would read every chance I got. I recommend this for an easy quick read that keeps you interested

Honestly, i have no idea how i feel about this book. I dont hate it. It's a fun little read, but it did give me a bit of ick here and there. (Maybe more than a little, i gound myself, wanting to shake Petra.)Our ML is... questionable as hell! But im gunna to keep rolling with it all because i finished, and she is legal now...Petra seems to have moments of utter childishness and then suddenly va va voom. But all makes sense given her age, so Im going with it. I hope she keeps her ears open and doesn't let herself be run over by the Van Deiren clan (or if she does, she rises from the ashes like a Phoenix).Im super curious about what mom knows and what everyone is hiding in detail. I need to know where i stand and how dark th3 path runs. So, will i read the next book?Yes.Im just so curious...

I couldn’t put the book down! I had 75% read in the first day!!! Such a good story and good writing!!!! Tictok reviews got me hooked to read and I am so so glad I did!!!!!

The story line of this book is decent, if only slightly believable. But, I suppose that’s why they call it “fiction.” The writing is what made it hard to read. It’s clear that someone unfamiliar with American English, slang, and tone wrote this book. Some of the lines literally had me face palming. The spice was ok. I’ve definitely read much spicier books. I’m undecided on whether or not to continue the series. I’m going to have to sit with the cliffhanger for a day or two and then decide if the torture of the writing is worth knowing the whole story.

This book is nothing short of surprises and mystery and love and romance and control. It’s a damn good read and I’m ready to start the next book!

This book was so good. Very heavy and emotional Petra and Alexander's love was a love that should have never been. It was strange to see a god father fall for his god daughter however I didn’t hate it... Her mom is absolutely against them getting together and it has nothing to do with him being her godfather. I need to know why. Heading to book 2 optimistically hopefully for happily ever after

Overall, the story hooks you from the start but in starts to get a bit outlandish at the end. I’m not sure the ending quite makes sense.

From the moment I heard about this book a few months ago I've been desperate to read it. I was right to be so excited, I feel like romance books get a bad name for not having substance, but this book was full of it and I think the price of £7.99 was completely correct, that's the average cost of any other genre and just because it's romance it shouldn't be lower.I loved this book so much I've also purchased a signed, paperback copy to go on my shelf. The characters are beautifully written and the relationship between them does not come off as strained or awkward - they fit well together and the twist well...I couldn't have guessed that.I am impatiently awaiting book 2! :)

Read this book in one sitting ; had to keep reading ,it can’t wait for the sequel,loved the Emma character ,it was a real roller coaster ride ,grabbed me in the first few pages

I downloaded this book over the weekend and I’ve finished it in 3 days, I’ve not been able to put it down 😊 I’ve just finished reading it and the last chapter had me in tears 😭 I don’t normally leave reviews but thought I needed to review this one. This book is brilliant, I loved it 🥰 such an emotional rollercoaster! Can’t wait for book 2 📚

Very good read. First time reading a book by this author. Look forward to reading how it ends in book 2 but that really is dependent on if the book is sold at a more reasonable price as this first book was quite expensive for just one kindle book.

Addicting!! I couldn’t put this book down. I truly fell in love with the characters in this book and loved the way Melanie writes. I’ve ordered the second book as I can not wait a day longer to read what happens next.
