We have a beautiful 5 year old labradoodle. Always been a great dog. Very rambunctious and eager to please. She started having seizures at about 2. Vet told us really nothing we could do to stop that as hyperactive dogs are common to have seizures. Looked up many causes and cures to this problem as we are not always around when this happens. Found another brand of calming chews and used them for a very long time. She is 65 lbs, gave her 3 in the morning and 3 at night. Only had 1 seizure in 4 months. Found Vetpro complete, way more chews for the same price, decided to try them. Was giving her the same 3 and 3 and my girl found her way too calm . So I now give her 2 in the morning and 2 at night. They do have an incredible smell but she loves them!!! Would recommend and will continue to get this brand for our dog. Actually tried another brand that was half as much to buy. Giving her 4 in the morning and 4 at night. Noticable difference. Going back to this brand wich does make a difference. Since switching to the cheap brand she had another seizure. Ordering this brand now. Cant cheap out on my dogs care

The soft chews break apart and are in pieces . This is the second time I’ve ordered these , so not random . I have to pinch the broken pieces together to create a soft chew.

These calming chews have worked really well on my dog. He is somewhat anxious, especially when we take him in the car he only needs one a day and it helps tremendously with his anxiety problems when I take him anywhere or if there are fireworks going off in the neighborhood, or any loud noise with these calming chews he is much better off in the car. He is very anxious around other animals so these help with really any kind of anxiety problems. I would definitely buy them again, or recommend them to a friend that has the same issues. He is a much calmer dog now, and the price was very reasonable compared to our local pet store and coming from Amazon. They came very quickly.

We have been using these for about a week and at this time they seem to be helping calm my girls. I do note there are a lot of broken treats, so I am left grabbing enough of the pieces to make a full treat. I have been buying these as a substitute for a different product we have used for years but is out of stock. I will go back to our original product once it is available again.

I bought these because they were highly rated. The smell horrific. 4 of my 6 dogs refuse to eat them.

My dog is getting old and she has lost her hearing and cannot see well if at all. She will be lying there and then start barking just to get a physical response from me. I would go over and pet her or lie with her until she calmed down. I think she gets scared because she cannot hear or see and if she gets up she will walk around but bumps into everything. These taken with a little water will help her calm down and she stops barking. Of course I still pet her and comfort her as best I can but at my age lying on the hard kitchen floor with her is not a good option for me. I try not to do that unless I have a plan to get back up.

My dog doesn't like. I crush it and she will eat it but effect is very minimal

Our 1 year old sheepadoodle and 3 year old golden doodle have never been good car riders. For long trips we've always had to give them prescription anti-anxiety/anti-nausea drugs. At $14 a pill I was looking for a more natural/less expensive way to deal with the car anxiety. Gave these Dr Joseph calming aid chews a try. The dogs take them just like a treat (no more pill in a piece of salami) and they seem to be doing the trick for both short trips and long. Our older dog almost always would start salivating as soon as she got in the car (even before we started moving) from the anxiety. Now she happily gets in and finds a spot to lay down. Would definitely recommend giving these a try!
