Case-Mate Barely There Glam Case for Apple iPhone 5/5S- Champagne

This case is extremely study and will protect your phone without being too bulky. The color is beautiful--other reviewers complained it is too silver, but having seen the silver case at Best Buy, I know the champagne color has more of a yellow cast. It's not as dark as other, "champagne" colored things, but it is very elegant.Other reviewers also complained about access to the lock button. I'm not sure what they mean, since the case doesn't have indents to get to the actual button. Instead, there are buttons on the case which cover the actual buttons on your phone. Hitting the buttons on the case does the same thing the real buttons on your phone do: volume up or down, lock, power on/off. So far, I have not had any problems using these.Other reviewers also mentioned the case has wiggle room. I haven't had an issue with my phone moving in the case--in fact, it's quite snug. Overall, if you like the look of the case and want something to protect your phone, I highly recommend this case. It's beautiful and functional!

Actually, there's only maybe a hint of gold if you hold it up to the light in your house (if you have warm white bulbs). Other than that, this is pretty silver. It is very sparkly and beautiful, but I was looking for that champagne gold color. I love these cases though. I have one in red glitter. Its very durable and I love that it goes all the way around to protect the screen as well. And it's not bulky.

I've been searching for an iPhone case for a while. I used to have a Speck case, but it added too much bulk and was very difficult to remove. This case is sleek, it's a great color, it has a very secure fit and is easy to remove.

Please, please save your money and time. Although the back of this case is beautiful, it is BULKY and NOT THE LEAST BIT FUNCTIONAL. The button on the top is impossible to push unless you use your fingernail. The bumper adds so much thickness. For how extremely over priced this item is, the case is a total waste of time and money. How much I love the glitter back is not enough for me to keep something that destroys the functionality and hides the beauty of my iPhone 5.I tried to post this review on the Case-Mate website. The review would not submit until I change my answer from No, I would not recommend this to a friend to "Yes" I would. I literally got an error on the website that said the security code I entered was incorrect- with my suspicions I changed nothing but my recommendation check off and voila- the review submitted. I'm sure it won't show up on the website- don't give this shady company your money.

I bought this case for the gold iPhone 5S. The case arrived in the mail before my phone did. When I first saw the case I was initially disappointed because it appeared to be really silver rather than champagne gold. Once the phone arrived and I put the case on I saw just how wrong I'd been about the color. It is gorgeous and matches the gold iPhone almost perfectly.The glitter on the back is covered in a smooth plastic coating so it is not rough to the touch.The lock screen button and volume control buttons are covered by the case. The silent switch and the speakers and earbud port are exposed. From the pictures it looks like the lock screen button is not covered, but the case does cover it. The case I had for my 3GS covered the lock button, and was so intense that it eventually pushed the lock button into the phone so it was hard to lock the screen. The cover over this lock screen is kind of loose and comes up from the case. I don't think I'll be having the same problem with this case and phone.I am very pleased with this case. I think it's my favorite case out of all the ones I've had over the years.

I LOVE THE LOOK OF IT! That's why I bought it twice.The frame of the first one broke after two months of owning it... My 13 month old plays with my phone a lot so I figured it was just wear and tear. It was so pretty so I purchased a second one. It came in yesterday & the frame on this one broke when I lightly dropped it this morning! ! ! I'm really upset b/c I love the look of this case but I'm definitely not purchasing another one.

I am absolutely in love with this case. The color is so delicate and soft and the quality is the highest I have come across. It is a 2 piece, which I typically do not prefer, but it is seamless and protects my phone. I have this in the black and silver ombre and the gold ombre but this one is my new favorite. These are hard cases and I have dropped my phone on a few occasions and not even a scratch. SO worth the money, and it's beautiful.

When I decided to get an iPhone 5 I looked at a lot of cases (hundreds I'm sure) on amazon and other sites. I wanted a case that was protective but not bulky. Also a case that let me enjoy being a girl without clashing with purses or my outfit. This case is perfect for those requirements! Glossy finish on the back of the phone with champaign colored sparkles. Lip around the front of the phone screen protects when I lay my phone face down. I use this with a screen protector and also slide my phone in a small bag when in my purse to avoid it getting knocked around. Case protects without getting in the way of the iPhone buttons I would get another case mate case love the quality and protection.

Good quality, protects the iPhone very well and is stylish. It's wife approved; she found a clutch to match.

Endlich eine Hülle, die mich voll und ganz zufrieden stellt! Zwar trägt sie, wie schon beschrieben, leicht auf, aber das stört überhaupt nicht und ist auch auf den Bildern sehr gut zu erkennen. Außerdem ist der Schutz dadurch sehr gut, da auch das Display nicht verkratzen kann, selbst wenn man es auf die Seite legt.Hinten ist das Glitzer wie 'versiegelt', es fühlt sich also nicht rau an, sondern ist ganz glatt.Positiv finde ich auch, dass die Hülle auch oben und unten verschlossen ist.Die Optik ist auch toll, ich bin jedes Mal wieder begeistert wie schön die Hülle glitzert.
