This, “Rubik’s Cube It” game reminds me of some similar games I have played with tiles instead of 3D pieces where you have a picture of a design and must arrange the pieces to make said design. It’s a simple concept that can be challenging at times, and good for 1-2 players.Within the box there are 2 bags with each containing all the pieces for a cube, an instruction sheet and also a deck of cards. I looked in the bottom of the box to see if there was anything else and nope, nothing else. What struck me as odd is that the deck of cards are shrink-wrapped. There isn’t a box to even store the cards within. Also, the set of pieces for each cube are within a plastic bag, however each set has unique pieces so unless you want to sort the pieces each time you want to play, it’s best to get a pouch or baggie and keep the pieces for each cube separate. Other than this sloppy storage and organization, the quality of everything is great.On the cards there are Easy, Medium, and Hard Puzzles. There is also an indication as to whether this puzzle is to be completed as Free-Standing or just Flat on a table. Game play is simple. If playing with 2 people, each person has a set of cube pieces. A card is drawn, and it’s a race to see whom can complete the puzzle. You can also just play on your own.I really like the game, however I feel the storage could be improved. Perhaps even something as simple as a plastic tray within the box that all of the pieces could have stored on. At least a box for the cards would have been nice. At the moment I just have each set of cube pieces within their own resealable plastic bag, same goes for the cards also. So, it doesn’t take much for me to keep the pieces separate, just 3 baggies.

This is a fun game for anyone who likes 3D puzzles. For my Lego loving son, this is seriously a great game because he also loves the Rubik’s cube. The game play is simple: race against your opponent to make the shape on the card. It’s simple but still fun and challenging.

The Rubik's name on this is purely marketing, let's get that out of the way. There's nothing about this game that has anything to do with a cube aside from the puzzle shapes looking reminiscent of the classic cube squares. Really, this is a generic puzzle game in which you race to build a complex shape from a card based on a set of pieces each player has. The pieces are made up of squares that look like a disassembled cube, but it could just as easily be Tetris-branded, Lego branded, or any other shape that one might associate with a popular name. It's a really fun game, my family really enjoys playing it, but my 2 kids who are speed-cube enthusiasts were a little disappointed it wasn't more closely related to the classic puzzle-cube.

I got this to play with my Rubik’s cube obsessed 5 year old. It’s a very simple puzzle game. My son wouldn’t have done well with the competition part so we just each tried to do the puzzles and then we transitioned it into making a structure and seeing if the other person could copy it. The cards have easy through hard rankings but I felt like they were all about the same. There are a couple though like the full Rubik’s cube that are really really hard but otherwise they’re pretty quick. I think my son would enjoy this game for quite a bit but as an adult I did get bored with it pretty quickly so I would recommend for kids for sure.
