At first I thought the plastic bowl was going to crack in winter. So now 6 months later, Spring has arrived. This is my 8th style of birdbath purchased. Love the thick sturdy center pole, keeps birdbath upright and never sways or bends. As for cleaning issues mentioned in so many other reviews, yes it's not easy emptying the bowl without unscrewing or lifting out of ground. However I have found that using the hose on full blast most of the old water can be flushed out (to grass or surrounding flowers no water waste here lol) and then refilled. 4 stars because it could be a bit taller and less deep. Even still, my yearly bird visitors love it. Bathing and drinking... the smaller songbirds don't bathe as much and I don't usually fill to top. But the American Goldfinches love drinking from the edge. Larger birds like Robin's, Northern Flickers, Starlings often bathe. Even a few house finches and Sparrows. Even those rodent squirrels are enjoying drinking at this 'pond'. Even in winter, when snow or frozen water is present, just add a bucket of hot water! Keeps the backyard water source available year round (did not crack). Definitely has outlasted all the other birdbaths I've purchased! No rust, easy to clean and move if needed. Time to add another to the backyard!

It’s in our backyard beside a decorative tree in the mulch area where it is stuck in the dirt/mulch. Convenient to not be knocked over by our lawn mowing service.

I really like the color and shape. The only issue is that the fountain I bought was meant for a circle bird bath and kept shooting water outside the bird bath on the narrower sides of the bird bath. Otherwise, I love this. It's stable and easy to move to a different area if needed.

The picture looked like it was round.But it was not.Needed for patio.

I have mine set up in the shade. After several other free-standing baths were destroyed by weather and/or raccoons, I was ready to try bolting one on.Not only do the critters love it; it's easy to keep clean.I will definitely be considered a second one.

Well made and not flimsy. The stand with 4 prongs works well and assembled easily with provided hardware. I have given it 4 stars, because although birds used my old, ratty and disintegrating plastic one, so far, I’ve seen no birds use this yet! Maybe a little deep, which I thought would please the pair of doves in my trees. I half filled it and added a rock to perch on for smaller birds. Maybe when hot weather comes they’ll enjoy it!

The media could not be loaded.  It's better than nothing, I've seen a few bits drink from it, but it's really not great. I've tried adding gravel and pebbles, I have used the fountain I bought at different settings (the only way it doesn't splash out of this birdbath is if I use no nozzle at all and it functions kind of like a bubbler), I've taken the fountain out, I've tilted it so that the water is more gradual, I've moved it to locations where it has more shade and there are shrubs nearby... No birds seem to want to take a bath in it, only drink from it, and the few I've seen do so seem uneasy with that.Anyway, my biggest annoyance is like a lot of other reviewers': to clean the thing, you have to twist to unscrew the top of the base from the bottom of the base. It gets really shaky when you get near the end of the threads and you pretty much slosh the dirty water all over.It's very sturdy and I plan to continue using it, but I wouldn't buy it again or suggest it to someone else.I wish they would make it so that it had one of those push button snaps or some way to clip on rather than unscrewing the thing every time, and I wish the bottom of it were more bowl-like and not flat.

Looks nice and it’s pretty sturdy. You do have to pull it out of the ground to clean it.

parts missing, so couldn't be assembled. sent it back. I would have sent it back anyway, poor quality product and not really suitable for purpose
