These are cute little trays; however, I think the inserts are of higher quality than the container itself. The lids are pretty light and flimsy and don't sit on the trays as firmly as I would like. The plants in there push the lid off if they exert any pressure at all from below. I'm not using the inserts, but they are quite sturdy and should stand up well to repeated use. The tray is not any different in consistency than your typical mushroom container from the store.

D*mn good seed starting trays for the cost. The cover is thin and flimsy actually a good thing because u want light to enter thicker covers ive had dont allow enough light in. Bottom trays and cells trays seem to be durable plastic. I tested them by twisting and pushing, held good to their form. Yes they will break if u beat on them enough but these are to start seeds so they are not indestructible. Great product gonna start my seed propogation tomorrow. To all the chiliheads out there looking for a durable seed starter tray try this one.

Perfect this exactly what I need to germinate seeds. The bottom tray withouthole filled with water half way will soak the compost from the bottom. Spray water On top after sowing the seed. Remove excess water in the bottom and leave about 1/4 inch of water in holding tray. Cover it with dome to maintain moisture and prevent insects in disturbing the seeds.Expect seed to sprout within 10 to 15 days. Happy Growing.

Great little humidity domes. Obviously they're not Super structurally Sound made of concrete or anything but they're perfect to use an inexpensive Greenhouse indoors with some T5 lighting. When they get big enough I take off the humidity domes, while still controlling the humidity with inside the greenhouse.

This would of been 5-stars if the 12-trays we're not so paper thin. I ripped one just trying to separate them.

These are excellent for putting in the window sill to start a variety of plants. They work exactly how there suppose to.
