Getting 7 hours out of this on a 3000. Very nice

The battery i ordered arrived quickly and the battery holds a charge decently well.

Had to get the first one I ordered replaced because the PSP-3001 just wouldn't detect the battery even on AC power. Got the second one and it also acted very weird. Wouldn't charge more than 5-minutes if the PSP was off. With he PSP on, it said "Charge Complete" in the menu even though it was only at 60% than magically started charging itself after letting it sit. Sometimes the battery won't turn on my PSP-3001 and next minute it just works without a hitch. I have no idea what's happening but now it just works. Now, with that over with which is an enormous pain in the rear, the battery life is VERY nice. Did a full charge +1-hour extra as seen in photo. Obviously the menu isn't the best tell for battery life, but on my PSP-3001 with the highest overclock, 3rd (highest brightness) brightness setting and an exact hour of gaming, the battery is only at 88%. Very nice. Battery weighed exactly 36.6 to 37-grams. Near the stated 38-gram weight. Very nice construction as well. Besides the pain train trying to get this to work properly (which it kinda just fixes itself or something) it's an amazing battery. Only removing a star because of the temperament of the battery and pain of usage at first.Edit after buying two batteries:The PSP will NOT CHARGE if it's off. If you try, you'll have to remove the battery and reinsert it for some reason in order to power your PSP on. And sometimes you'll have to reset your date and time for some reason. Both batteries charge without a hitch if PSP is left on while charging. Battery life is amazing at around 5 hours give or take 30 minutes. Also, the battery door is not an exact color match to the black PSP. Hope this helps anyone. I'd recommend the OSTENT battery as it's cheaper, charges while powered off and the life is about the exact same.EDIT AFTER 2 WEEKS: Battery will still not charge via 2000mAh OEM Sony Charger while PSP is powered off, will not charge on an OEM PSP Battery Dock Charger.

Didn’t fit right

Battery lasts alot longer. But it will randomly just shut off.

It seems to work but the system has a hard time recognizing charge percentages and gives erroneous data for charge levels.

Battery works great, as expected - however - you have to use the cover provided as it's too large to fit underneath the regular battery cover in my 3000 ): The cover snapped in with no issues and feels pretty sturdy but it wasn't communicated in the product info anywhere that you have to use the cover provided. (i just thought it was a spare) As seen it leaves a noticeable bump that feels a little awkward when handling as the left side is flat - shouldn't be an issue on PSP 1000s
