Fisher-Price Nickelodeon Shimmer and Shine, Teenie Genies Magic Carpet Adventure Playset

We bought this for our daughter, who recently became obsessed with Shimmer and Shine. She fell absolutely in love with it as soon as she ripped off the wrapping paper. The set is cute, though I do wish it was a little more detailed/decorated. My husband assembled it in about 15 minutes and our daughter hasn't stopped playing with it since. Seriously, she spent HOURS playing with it that first day and has spent at least a little time with it every day since. The figures are VERY small and we do lose one or both of them periodically, which makes me wish there was a little storage case attached to the set. But, as long as we're vigilant about collecting the pieces when she's done playing, it's not a big deal. The only other warning I'd give for parents is to know that, since the figures are small, the pegs for them to stand on are also very small. This makes it a little difficult for my 3 year old to manipulate them sometimes, but she's getting better at it the more she plays. Older children will likely have no problem, though. Overall, we are very pleased!

I got this for my 5 year old daughter for Christmas and it has been a huge hit. I also bought the pack of characters to go with it. What I really love about this play set is all the different places you can place the characters. If I were a child, when coming up with stories and playing with the different characters I would want to place them in different spots and a lot of play sets don’t have enough little notches to put the characters on so you have to balance them in places they aren’t meant to be in. This play set has little notches all over and plenty of little activities for the characters to do. The levitating magic carpet is adorable. I give this thing 5 stars and would give more if I could. Super awesome!

Went together very well worked great haven't had it long enough to see if it holds up to my rough & tough kids but has lots of areas to play and even store the little teenie genies. Got it for a much lower price then originally listed. It is very big and both my girls can play with it without fighting for space. It was extremely easy to assemble I literally did it in a few minutes and everything fit together nicely and was sturdy didn't feel like it was about to fall apart at any moment like some other products I have put together over the years. Also added bonus I didn't have to put on any of the stickers! I really like the teenie Genies have different places to sit all over it and there's a little hole on the bottom of them that fit into a little Peg where they would sit so if you wanted to put them on and stored on the Shelf like that they would stay nicely. Previously restoring all of them in a baggie.

This toy is so much fun. Slides and so much more.. if your child is into shimmer and shine you should definitely get this.

Bought this as a Christmas gift for my toddler, the toy itself was easily to put together but my thing is I wish it contained more characters than just two. The toy itself is pretty plain, you put shimmer or shine on a carpet and it magnetically slides down the toy. I don’t believe this toy is worth the price for what it does.

We love this play set castle! I enjoyed playing with my kids with this. It has places for all 28 of my daughter’s teenie genies. This was for her 5th birthday. The carpets are awesome and the castle has survived a road trip and being tossed in the closet my other kid. It’s a little heavy but very sturdy and keeps my daughter’s attention. Overall this is a lot of fun and we enjoy this purchase and will probably purchase another teenie genie item for Christmas!

This was the best surprise gift for my daughter’s Christmas! She wasn’t expecting it but has played with it so much. For the cost it was well worth it. It’s well made and works great!

This toy doesn't require batteries, as it doesn't have sound! Hallelujah! But it's still fun to play with -- I even catch myself sliding the little magic carpets down the ramps. It's sort of the "girlie" equivalent of a racecar track. It does take up a lot of space, however, so keep that in mind.

Children loved this. It's popular now with the tv show or videos and entertaining. Good choice for little ones.
