They work great! Just make sure your hair is almost dry when you put them in. Your hair will not dry fast if it’s really wet or thick. I contacted the company and they immediately sent an email with an explanation and sent out another package of curlers...great customer service!!The curlers work very well and are easy to use. Love the curls. Easy to sleep with, but I use a super soft pillow. Don't know how it would feel with anything else. I used this on my 6 year old she did not complain about sleeping in it. The curls come out so perfect as if I blow dried first. I have thick hair, my curl pattern is kind of tight. Shrinkage is very real for me. With these curlers my hair stretches to my shoulders. My hair length is past my shoulders.

Upon reading a lot of other reviews, I saw people suggesting damp hair- for me that did not work. I had almost dry hair, and slept in them overnight. I just tied a handkerchief over them to keep them in place. I have very thick, just past should length hair. I suggest testing the curlers to see how they work best for you, and try a few different ways. They did a nice job, though. Happy with my purchase!

These are EXTREMELY hard to sleep in. I didn’t get any sleep that night at all & the rollers only ended up curling my ENDS, despite having them in for 12+ hours. I bought two packages & they were enough for my long hair but they didn’t do jack diddedly squat. I wouldn’t recommend this to absolutely anyone.

This definitely adds a nice curl to my hair. I have thick, color-treated hair so I don't always want to use heat and destroy my hair more. This is perfect. Just need to find a hair product now to keep the curls staying for longer, but that's not this products fault, it's my thick stubborn hair!

These work very well, but if your hair isn't baby-fine, you're going to need about 5 packs. They work best if your hair is damp. Not dry, but not too wet. Maybe I was supposed to know that already. lol

I love these curlers. They do produce a pretty tight curl, so be aware of that. I can put them in about 5 minutes and have curly hair in about 15 minutes if I use a blow dryer.
