Review: BEST detergent EVER!!! - This laundry detergent is BY FAR, the ABSOLUTE BEST natural laundry detergent that I have EVER USED! I absolutely REFUSE to use anything else now for my and my family’s laundry. We recently went on a trip and stayed at an Airbnb that had a washer & dryer that we could use. I made sure to bring some of these pods so that I could wash our laundry with this detergent. The a Airbnb offered Tide pods and I didn’t even touch them. This detergent does the BEST job cleaning, my family’s clothes without damaging/fading the fabric. It gets out tough stains and odors easily. I add in some Oxy powder to help boost the effectiveness but I’ve done that with every other type of laundry detergent that I’ve ever used and I’ve tried just about EVERYTHING. Laundry is my passion (I’m a weirdo, yes, I know) but in loving laundry, I’ve searched high and wide for the best natural laundry detergent. I’ve even used the Tide Free & Clear before and while they worked, my family’s clothes didn’t smell fresh because there was no scent. I wanted something that was natural that smelled fresh & clean without smelling like lavender (I personally have never really liked lavender scents). It seems to me that if a detergent is natural, the only scent that is offered is lavender. Boo, no thank you! This detergent works SO WELL plus it smells SOOOOOOOO GOOD! My co-worked even commented that whenever she comes into my office, it smells so fresh & clean without it being an overwhelming smell. It’s soft and not fake fresh like some chemical detergents. My kids also have done so well with this detergent as well. No skin irritation or problems whatsoever. The price point for this detergent is really good as well (in my opinion). Like I’ve said before, I’ve used the expensive name brand (T), the other natural name brand (SG), laundry sheets, etc. (I’ve tried a lot as a middle aged woman with a family). You can’t go wrong with this one.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Getting better at doing my part without sacrificing quality

I, like many of the previous reviewers, really liked the idea of an environmentally responsible laundry detergent. I would have preferred a sample size as a try-before-you-buy rather than forking over nearly $30 for 140 pods that I may or may not like, but so far I am not disappointed with my purchase. Previous reviewers mentioned that the casing of the pod does not dissolve in cold water. I don't wash in any other temperature so I just did what we do with all the pods we've ever purchased and swished it around in the water by hand before adding clothes. The casing was either not dissolving or dissolving VERY slow. Rather than take a chance due to some of the other reviews, after all the detergent had been released from the capsule I pulled the casing and threw it in the garbage. I'm not happy about trying to be eco-smart and then throwing away something that I'm not totally convinced is going to break down, but I did not want to have the issue others have mentioned where the casing glues to their clothing. The smell is very light and clean, not overpowering or perfumed at all. I found it very pleasant and my clothes kept that scent even after drying with nothing but unscented wool dryer balls (also a first time thing). How effective are these at cleaning your clothes? The clothing I washed in my trial load were: 1 set of cycling bib shorts worn for a 20 mile ride, 1 pair of yoga capris worn for a 4 mile walk, 2 quick-drying athletic shirts worn for the above activities, a pair of underwear, and 2 pairs of socks. I live in southern Florida and it is hot and humid so any physical activity can create a lot of moisture and odor. I washed my load on medium load size, tap cold wash, and used the heavily soiled cycle. I used one laundry pod and, as noted above, dissolved it in the water by hand before adding clothes. When the cycle was complete, I did the smell test. The chamois on my bike shorts and the armpits of my shirts smelled fresh with no lingering odors whatsoever. I am VERY impressed. I have not worn any of my clothes yet so I cannot speak in regard to skin irritations or allergic reactions, but I've known people that couldn't use Tide or they broke out in hives (and had no known allergies prior to this) so I would imagine some people may be sensitive to this as well. So far I am very pleased with my purchase and can't wait to try the dishwasher pods (I still haven't convinced my boyfriend that dishwashers are unnecessary lol).
