Kicked my hangover!
WARNING: I exclusively used this product as a hangover cure, so my review is centered around that.I purchased one pack of Oral IV to test before a trip to New Orleans. Having been there a number of times, I knew that I'd be imbibing a fair amount of alcohol and was hoping to find something that'd at least mitigate the symptoms of a hangover, if not cure them completely. I spent a few nights over a weekend drinking various types of alcohol, knowing that I'd need to be in rough shape to truly test the product. Now, I can't speak to whether it's a total placebo or if Oral IV actually works, but after waking up feeling like I was on my death bed, a quick shot followed by a few glasses and I was feeling right as rain within 30 minutes!Since it's a liquid and I was flying, I opted not to bring Oral IV with me on my trip. But suffice it to say, I will be purchasing more of it in the future.

Of all the things he's tried he told me this is the next best thing to an actual IV
Army medic friend tried this on me after a rough hike. At the time he would normally just stick me with an IV but wanted to see if this worked. Of all the things he's tried he told me this is the next best thing to an actual IV. Ever since I've kept a few in my bigger camping bag. Expensive but worked glad to have it. At a long camp with friends one hot dry weekend Oral Re hydration Salts seemed to work for most of them but had a couple of women with just migraine level headaches and the ORS did not seem to help. Offered one of these to the one who was willing to try it. She took it and followed it with about a liter of water. Her husband had already decided to leave early to get her out of there. Took them about 45 minutes to pack up and on the way out they let me know her headache had completely disappeared and that she was feeling a lot better (no dry heaving and a lot less tense). Other woman took my last one on after hearing that. The couple of times I've had to use this, it seems to work great.

Effective but pricey....
I brought them during a Spartan Beast race in near 100 degree desert heat. When I started to experience cramping in the legs, I took one Oral IV in two and three hour intervals and they seemed to have helped relieved the cramping and muscle fatigue. These aren' t cheap, but if it helped me complete the race, I can't ,complain.

Bought this to test after hearing so much about it ...
Bought this to test after hearing so much about it online. Tested the product the morning after a strenuous day of hiking and setting up camp: the Oral IV seemed to clear my grogginess up fairly quickly, especially after drinking a full water bottle with it. To test that my condition wasn't just the water re-hydrating me, my group also tested the product the morning after a heavy night of drinking. Although it didn't help the feeling in our stomachs, our headaches cleared up for the most part and we were stable enough to get the day started within 20 minutes of consumption: we believe that the Oral IV gave us our second wind to sweat the rest of the toxins out. As skeptical as I was, it seemed to work and my group and I were pleasantly surprised. Whatever their "Crystalloid Electrolytes" are, it sure beats Gatorade.

Do The Smart Thing, Use Oral IV
I use this before all of my races! I am an obstacle course racer and I generally do about 1-2 races a month. Oral IV is a part of my MUST have equipment. My last race I actually ran out and my order didn't arrive in time so I had to race without it. NEVER AGAIN will I do that, I could tell a huge difference in my hydration level between this race and all of my others. If I could I would be a rep for this company, they have such an incredible product and it would benefit the health, wellness and performance of so many people if they just had a chance to try it.

If it does anything for you - great, but just drinking the actual water that they ...
Bought this item because of all the high positive reviews, but it doesn't do a thing for me. Perhaps it does contains electrolytes beyond Sodium and Potassium in some magic combination, but if the trivial amounts of other trace elements was enough to impact performance, (or lack of be harmful), we all would have been dead already before lunch time.If it does anything for you - great, but just drinking the actual water that they suggest you mix it with probably will do much more you you.

A MUST HAVE FOR ENDURANCE ATHLETES!!
I just finished the Lake Tahoe Spartan Ultra Beast which was a little over 31 miles. The weather was a frigid 34 degrees and the wind was blowing at 40 knots. Most of this race was uphill and I saw hundreds of people immobilized with cramps on the trails. Now I drank a vial of the Oral IV every 4 miles and didn't cramp once. Skeptics can call it Voodoo or whatever they want but the FACT remains I was one of the 246 out of 1200 who finished the race. I have used it on every race since then and now it is a permanent part of my race preparations.

and felt great for the rest of the day
I was doing some tactical training in a very dry environment recently. I was having trouble staying hydrated, even with the most popular hydration drinks. I started cramping due to dehydration one day while training, and my instructor handed me an Oral IV. I used just one and was immediately relieved of the dehydration symptoms. I kept drinking a lot of water and the hydration drinks after, and felt great for the rest of the day. It was more than feeling hydrated. I felt recharged. I won't do any work in the heat without having a couple of these with me. Dehydration can be deadly.
