Quiet, easy to clean, battery lasts a long time, and the cats love it!
My cats were TERRIFIED of this fountain, for the first couple of hours, but then they bravely crept up on it and drank. Now they love it. My elderly cat likes that she doesn't have to bend down to drink. They all like the gently running water and how clean the water stays. It was easy to assemble. It's almost silent - just a very faint whirring sound, and the dribbling of the water. The water doesn't splatter, drip, or spill. I have it on a plastic tray on the floor, because that's where I had the water dish, but so far it has not had a stray drop around it. The battery has not run low after a week of sensor mode. You can top up the water without taking it apart, if you are careful to pour it in the drinking basin slowly. But the big question: how hard is it to clean?I used to have a "cat fountain" that was a huge pain in the neck to clean. I had to take the pump apart into tiny fiddly parts, and the water reservoir had a dozen nooks and crannies that collected slime and mineral scale. I got rid of it and went to a gravity-flow water bottle but it was also hard to keep clean. I finally just gave up and used a water dish that I had to refill every day, and that the cats would spill. The uahpet fountain is completely different. You just turn it off by pressing the power button for three seconds, and lift the pump assembly off of the back. The little filter at the bottom of the intake tube comes right out for replacement (but I just rinsed it out - it didn't look dirty after a week.) Then you lift off the top, lift off the filter holder, remove the filter (again, I just rinsed it rather than put in a new one), and wash the parts with a soapy sponge. The parts have very few corners or crevices. Squeaky clean in just a couple of minutes, reassembled in less than a minute, refilled and back in its spot and turned back on in another minute. Total of about five minutes to disassemble, wash, reassemble, refill, and start back up.Get this fountain. Your kitties (or small dogs) need to drink plenty of water. This fountain makes it so easy to give them nice clean water constantly.

Love it
My cats and I love this water fountain. The fact that it doesn't have to be plugged in is wonderful so I can put it anywhere. My cats love it and drink more water since I have bought it. I have had it over a year and so far no problems. It is easy to clean and charge. It is very quiet and only know it is running because when it is low you can hear the water dripping into the base.

Adding an edit. Don't rely on this as the only water source, pumps are faulty
The media could not be loaded. A year later I have to add another edit.I mentioned that one of the pumps stopped working and they graciously replaced it.I bought several of these cause my cats love them. But now all the pumps are faulty and sometimes just don't work. There is water in the base but they are not pumping it. I clean them regularly and replace the filters as well. I have to bang on the pump to make it work sometimes. If I didn't also have bowls of water around, my cats might be pretty thirsty sometimes. They have to be charged often as well. I'm editing because I'm thinking about people who might go away and leave these as the only water source, and after a while, the pump could stop working and the cats won't have any water.Perhaps the newer models are better. I still have them but I have to check them all the time to make sure they have pumped water out. I give them a bang on the floor and then they will pump. Sometimes they work fine for days. Sometimes I have to do this often. Just make sure you have a backup water source for your cats. This problem has been happening for a while. But I just remembered that I wrote a review and I thought it should be updated. I only bought them a year ago.Additional edit:A week after I put the last edit.So I figured I would reach out to the company since Amazon said I couldn't do anything about the faulty pump. And they got back to me fairly quickly. I sent them a short video of how the pump is not working and my order number. They're mailing me a new pump. The other 2 fountains are fine.It sure beats dealing with big water bowls and messy paws and spilled water. The cats really do love these fountains. I'm thankful for their customer service and kindness. Because we really do love these things and when one started not working, I was so disappointed. They were quick to make it right for us. I think the one that was faulty, with the new pump, since it's an extreme high traffic area between myself and the cats, I will try to use it on timer instead of motion sensor. And see how that goes.First edit....I'm adding an edit to this one. Because I bought an additional 2 fountains. And now one of the pumps is already not working. And Amazon won't let me return or exchange it. I've only had it for a couple months. We have them set on motion sensor and I clean them every day and fill them up every day and put fresh water in every day. One pump so far is not good. It's been making funny noises for a week or so. I just washed everything and put new filters in and put it back together. I'm very careful with them. I thought these were fantastic. But now I don't know. We had bought an additional 2 because they liked them so much. And with only one, they're preferring it over the water dishes and I was filling the fountain too often. So now we have 3.Original review:We set it up and charged for about 12 hours. Filled it. Let it sit for 15 minutes to let the filters absorb water. And soaked the filters directly in the water. Then I put it down. At first, they were not too sure about it. We have one cat that is always putting her dirty paws in the big water bowls we have. And she's got long fur and she's sick so she's not the best at grooming herself. So I was washing them a couple times a day and changing them out for a new bowl every other day. Now I still have the other bowls but they all seem to love this one. I have to fill it almost daily. And I rinse it with hot water and the filter too. I've already had to charge it again. So a charge lasts maybe 2 weeks. But I have it on motion sensor and either one of the cats or myself are walking by it often. So that might be why. Now that I've had to take it apart so often to clean, I think I understand how it works so when I have to change the filters, I should be able to figure it out. It's not that difficult, I'm just a little slow. The manual has a qr code which brings up a video from here on how to set it up. Even with fresh water in the other bowls, they're going for this thing. I would get another one, but the price has gone back up. I got it on a deal. We have cats with medical conditions and I think it helps them drink more water. And I don't have to worry as much about the one that likes to wash her paws in the other bowls because this one has fresh water all day. And she doesn't try to do that with this one. At least not as much. And if she does, the stuff gets caught in the filters. I think it took them a little time to figure out how to drink at that level, as the other bowls are on the floor. If the price drops again, I will definitely get another one but with vet bills right now, we can't. I hemmed and hawed about getting a fountain for a while. I got this one because I can charge it and then not have a cord lying about where we trip on it. Or someone gets zapped because they fling water around. I just wish it was bigger. Because now that they've figured it out, they all drink from it all The time. The charge lasted about 2 weeks. It started blinking red so I charged it. I think it takes less time to charge it after the initial 12 hours of charging. It definitely catches the gunk and fur. But I still wash it every time I have to fill it. Sometimes it will be last 2 days. But again, that's with 6 cats. And now that they have this and aren't really using the bowls as much, it runs out quickly. One of the cats sometimes likes to spill the large bowls we have in the kitchen. She doesn't try to do that with this one. I hope this review helps someone. I just hope it lasts. Because it is constantly running. Well, every time we walk by it. So I really don't wanna be buying a new battery anytime soon. Hopefully the filters will last a while too. I've only had it for about 2 and a half weeks. But I'm definitely pleased with it so far. As for the noise, it's definitely not loud. But I have it in my bedroom, so I definitely notice it. Less now than at first. But it really is relatively quiet. If you're like I was, and have been trying to decide if you really want a fountain and then you have been contemplating this one, just get it. I would imagine with less cats you wouldn't have to clean and change everything as often as I do. And the charge would probably last longer too. I don't write a ton of reviews. I used to write them when I got stuff on wish because they would give you points for it even if it was a bad review or not detailed or anything. So the fact that I'm bothering to write something and write this much says a lot. Because you don't get any bonus for writing an Amazon review. I just wish it was my birthday so I could get someone to get me another one because I really do like it. My kitties are happy to have fresh water all the time without fluffy Jeff putting her grubby paws in it constantly. 🐱

Excellent fountain, Completely soundless, Fantastic customer service.
This is an excellent fountain. Easy to clean, Sooo quiet, seriously can not hear the motor it at all, (sometimes I hear trickle sounds but I just have to adjust water level ) and the battery lasts quite a while,, if left on motion detection setting. Other reviews that say it doesn't last long, idk maybe they are using the other setting that stays on in time intervals. Mine stays charged on the motion detection setting and it is in a high traffic area (kitchen) so it is still pretty active and I get several weeks. It charges pretty fast.I did have a problem with the pump after a few months (this is a late review, or maybe a second one) And anyone complaining about issues with the pump, instead of just complaining here why didn't they go to the merchant and ask. The pump is warranted for 1 year. (As noted on the company's website) .. I wrote them from here on your order select to contact the merchant. They responded literally within a few hours and I had a new pump delivered in 2 days. Excellent customer service. When the pump finally does die (sure it probably will eventually) and it's out of warranty, I will definately be purchasing a new pump, as I like the fountain so well. 5+ stars.

Brilliant
I've had 3 cat fountains in the past and have all stopped working after a few weeks, but this one is perfect, once you have charged it, it will last pretty much all week, I like the fact that there's a sensor which turns the water on when your cat goes for a drink, also no messy cables laying around, brilliant cat fountain and would recommend. 😀

Katzen trinken endlich genug
Diesen Filter müsste man regelmäßig ersetzen.
