SuzziPad Cold Therapy Socks & Hand Ice Pack, Cooling Gloves for Chemotherapy, Chemo Care Package for Women and Men, S/M

I bought these for my sister who is undergoing chemotherapy to use on her 4th infusion. She was skeptical that they would work. The results were remarkable. No neuropathy pain following infusion in her hands or feet. She still had some numbness but no pain. Well worth the purchase for good night sleeps.

I’m currently undergoing chemo and the nurse recommended cold booties and mittens to help stave off neuropathy in my feet and hands. The SuzziPad item I purchased came complete with cold packs. It came with a bag to put cold packs in while freezing. The chemo that can cause neuropathy requires a 3 hour drip and during my first treatment the cold packs did not stay frozen the entire time. I purchased a second set of cold packs and now I change them out 1/2 way through the infusion of that specific medicine. They work very well! I have only had a slight tingling on the bottom of my feet; it does not last long and I have not had any sign of the tingling worsening. Highly recommend this and recommend purchasing a second set of ice packs if your use exceeds a couple of hours. The mittens are quite large but they work well.

Know that this product runs short. Go with a size higher than your usual. Received item with missing back gel packs for socks but was promptly fixed by the seller and was able to use it for the first session. It seems to stay cold for about an hour if frozen properly so plan for two if your treatment runs longer.

These work very well. We use these to keep neuropathy away while going through chemotherapy treatments. I think they help even though there has been some neuropathy creeping in. Because he has never had any experience of having neuropathy we wonder what it might be like had we never used this product. We keep these in the freezer in between treatments and we use a soft sided cooler with blue ice blocks loaded around and on top of them. We have two sets so we trade them out every so often during treatment. I would recommend this product for this kind of use.

Great customer service!) ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The good: the ice packs have some good lasting power. The bad: the gloves are just way too big to actually cool your finger tips. I have worn these once so far, just finished my first chemo treatment 3 days ago. The socks kept the ice tightly against my feet and I could tell they were working (not the most comfortable feeling, but the job was being done!) The gloves on the other hand are so big that they create a large cavity inside of the gloves where the ice isn't actually touching your hands or fingertips. I tried several times to hold the finger tips down to make contact, but it didn't help. After one treatment, I have burning and tingling in my hands, but not my feet. So this may work for people with larger hands! But not someone with XS glove size hands.

Purchased this product at the suggestion of my oncologist to use during chemotherapy treatments. (To hopefully reduce risk of neuropathy in my fingers and toes.) I have used them during rounds of chemo & to date, & am pleased with the product. Everything you need is included & easy to use, as well as mess free. I typically wear a women’s size 8 & purchased the large set. They are a little big but it doesn’t really matter because the straps hold them in place & you can’t safely walk in them anyway. I also wear a thin pair of socks inside them. The gloves are quite large on my hands, but I don’t mind because it gives me room to wiggle my fingers when they are too cold. It is a gel pack & stays cold They worked so well I purchased 2 sets & one of replacement packs. (I would advise skipping the replacement packs unless you damage one. It’s easier just to freeze the set together rather than trying to change out the ice packs mid use) Side note - I had to travel for chemo so I would freeze them & they would be in an ice chest overnight before using them during treatment. So I changed them to a fresh pair mid treatment(I wanted them as cold as possible to minimize my risk of neuropathy) I am happy to report that I have very little if any after the treatments. I would purchase these again & for friends who have the same unfortunate journey ahead

I purchased for the purpose of using for foot Neuropathy. The idea of an ice pad above and below the foot is great. The sock fit well and the way the ice pads themselves sit in the pouches of the socks works great. Even has an ice pad for heel area. My main issue is that the ice pads themselves perform terribly. Mine lasted for about a half an hour before they were warm and melted. If the ice pads were of better quality it would be a definite 5 star. But they don’t unfortunately

Shipment was a little under a week. The box looked had multiple stickers as if it was reused and upon opening we found only socks and no gloves. The socks were stained as if already worn.
