Why did you pick this product vs others?:I chose this for the Black &Decker name. It came with two blades and I love it. I use it in my sewing room to take apart jeans as well as to cut through canvas and other thicker fabrics. If cutting a straight line is not necessary, I’ll reach for the electric cutter. Once you press the safety button to start cutting, you don’t need to keep your finger on it. Very easy to use. I have cut standard cardboard with it. It works well but it’s a little slow on something that stiff and unyielding. Don’t expect to go through it like buttah! Be patient. It charges with a USB-c and has a great little display so you know what your current charge is when you plug it in. Thumbs up!

After using these on multiple projects—including thick wool—I’m really impressed. They cut smoothly, hold a charge well, feel sturdy, and are nice and sharp. Best of all, they save my hands from getting sore during longer cutting sessions. Very easy to use, they go fast to watch yourself, and plow through thickness with ease.

I have used B&D products for most of my life and wanted electronic scissors to help with my sewing projects and cutting multiple fabric when I need to.It was very easy to maneuver and made the dreaded part of cutting fabric easier and faster. I should have gotten this a while ago. I enjoy using these scissors and the only con is the noise. However, if you can deal with the noisiness it's a good product!

So useful when cutting material. Sharp easy to control can cut several layers that regular scissors can’t. Makes quick work of cutting out material Grat battery life . Recommend!!!

I bought this after having wrist surgery. I make handmade cat toys on my embroidery machine and am often cutting through 4-5 layers of materials. I usually use tailor scissors but that was unmanageable after my surgery.These do have a slight learning curve for precision cutting cut they just wanna cut forward. They are sharp and do not pull or tear the fabric but cut it. They make short work of what took me twice as long. They do look rather dangerous but once you get comfortable you realize how easy they are to control. I haven't noticed a problem with short battery life, but that's also depends on your specific use. I plug mine in every night. I also noticed my fancy phone charging block (type c to type c) WILL NOT charge them, but a generic one (usb to type c) will.There are downsides though. The safety mechanism is not much different than scissors grip. You have to hold the top button while gripping the trigger. It is easier than scissors, but it still kinda hurts me. So if you're buying due to wrist pain, know that it uses the same muscles to grip. The majority of my pain was with the thumb and the "opening the scissors" motion. This uses the "closed scissor" grip.The other downside is the noise. These are so loud. I'm usually working with loud embroidery machines and music blaring in my ear buds, but they are not quiet at all.On the whole, I'm really glad I invested in these and I'm thinking about getting a second pair for when these run out of battery. I also bought the Black and Decker electric rotary cutter and will leave a review on that listing.

I wasn't sure how well I would like this but I am impressed with the quality and ease of handling. It takes a little while to get the feel of it but cutting is fast and I'm amazed at what it can handle. Fantastic product for those who suffer with arthritis.

I purchased the scissors on Aug 24,2024. I have used them maybe for one hour every two months. They are not working. I was having problems with them not running long but the last thing a couple of months ago was a small project so i just picked them up. Well now they are not working. Warranty is for two years but it should not have went bad when I only have a few hours on it. Do not recommend

The wife has used these scissors to cut wrapping paper, fabric, even weed barrier fabric. It's nice that it is cordless, no more wrangling to get it into tight spots.

What a great product. These are fabulous and saved our arthritic hands. I should have trusted a Black and Decker product - this is terrific! I just cut out an outfite in less than a half hour this would have taken much longer with scissors and I would be in pain. No fuss, no muss, no pain! I would highly recommend this product, it is a bit loud but cuts your time in about half.

Wasn't really sure what to expect. But I have to say i was delighted. It is easy to use. Yes it's a bit noisy but worth it for the ease of use. I bought it to cut fabric. And so far it's had no problem going through 4 layers of100% cotton. A little more expensive than some other similar products but seems like good quality.

Good stuff value for money pretty sturdy n handy .. a good buy
