I brought this for my boyfriend for a slightly torn rotor cuff! We found out about this sleeve because he had knee surgery and they gave him one like it (but specifically for his knee) at the hospital. It made a huge difference. It really worked when it came to reducing and/ in some instances eliminating pain. So remembering that experience, this was my go to purchase for pain relief! It got us thru many restless nights of sleep. The ice is soothing. The ice packs are not as pliable as the other one we have for his knee, but they work just as well and the ice stays cold for a lot longer that the one he had for his knee. He’s 5’11 with a very broad chest. The fit was good for the strap that went around him. However, the other two arm straps that fit around your arm could be problematic… we made it work. You do have to put it on properly to keep it from shifting and YES as others have reviewed there were NO instructions on how to use the thing in the packaging. We figured it out, but we also had one before! I can see someone whose never used one being very confused. Last, the lock for the pressure pump ( the bulb thing that you pump to fill the sleeve with air) does not really appear to have a lock in one direction or the other, so it just spins! So you have to spin it to figure out which way is to release air or lock it in. So there are a few minor hiccups, but the sleeve itself is the truth! He’s doing much better.

This unit has solid construction and cold compression that lasts, however, I find that it takes 2 people to put it on, especially if your shoulder is injured. I like it though, but was hoping it'd be easier to maneuver.

I never ordered from this place, had no idea what to expect. But from the first glance taking it out of the package I could tell it was a good quality product. It was ordered and arrived the next business day. After reading the instructions and trying it on everything just felt right there and the ice / heat gel pack inside the shoulder harness immediately felt soothing for the pain. The compression pump just made it even better and I couldn't be more pleased with the product. The only thing that kind of felt could have been done different or made better was the buckles that the strap comes around the back and to the front again, seems to want to slide in the buckle down or up to one side crimping on one end or the other....not a big deal. I just needed to balance the tension better on each side more even to fix the issue. I don't get paid to sell, promote,or benefit from the seller or manufacturer in any manner. This is my humble opinion and review of the shoulder brace. I hope everyone has the same reaction as I did , for the money and quality of the product I'd buy again if needed.

This shoulder strap with hot and cold compress works great for its intent. The pads hold in position when braced up correctly and hold in the correct place. It is not the easiest to use until you fully understand how to brace it up correctly. It is also a bit bulky and may appear a bit heavy as well, but as long as you are braced up correctly, it will work as expected.The versatility of the compress being hot and cold as well as the manual air compress for firmness makes for a very good option. The straps feel comfortable if not used for a prolonged period of time in my experience. Perhaps the size I chose isn’t the best for me, but it works well regardless. The price is a bit steep, but the quality and versatility of the product make for a good value for the money.Overall this product is a good option for shoulder pains in general. The price is competitive for what you get, so if you are looking for a hot/cold shoulder compress with manual air pump that will hold you firmly and help with pain, then this could be the right option for you.

Works well for arm care after my son pitches. Really helps recovery time and minimize arm stress and wear. Works excellent for pitchers. Would definitely buy again. Other pitchers have purchased after seeing it. Removable Ice pack is a big plus and compression is excellent. Even for 12 year olds shoulder

I have had problems with my shoulder, which sorry to say now, that I have recently broken the arm. I can see that it will be very helpful as soon as my arm heals. I like that is can be a heat or cold wrap. It appears to be made well, appears to be comfortable while allowing me to work while wearing it. I’m looking forward to using it.

Great product. Simple to use, great quality.

First, I had to figure out how to connect and arrange the velcro straps. The gel pad can be used cold or hot, and even alternating, although it takes about two hours to get it cold enough for therapeutic purposes. The compression is an added bonus with the cold or hot gel pad. It does indeed help to relieve shoulder joint pain. The instructions are helpful but not entirely accurate. For example, to release the air for the compression function, it says to "remove the pump hose and turn the valve to 'on.'" In fact, there is simply a pressure release on the bulb itself. Also, I find the smaller arm straps to be a little short for a larger arm, and the velcro tends to loosen when using the compression function. In the end, however, it works well and does what it should do.
