Yum! I enjoy licorice and had gotten some similar to these when I lived in Iceland. These are so good, the quality is fantastic! These have a sort of m&m outside that doesn't melt in your hand so you can hold on to them for a while. The licorice has a smooth texture and the flavor is great! Not sure how to describe it other than that it is good. The arrived in good condition and were not damaged from anyway that I could see or taste. If you like licorice, then this is well worth it!

The journey your taste buds go on is quite exuberant! It begins with a smooth outer coating, this is where you encounter a subtle taste of passion fruit. Then, you take a light crunch, penetrate said layer. The shell with the passion fruit “candy” layer chips away, revealing a salty licorice nugget. It’s a high quality licorice what can I say. Try for yourself, not your typical candy.

If you like licorice and passion fruit taste, this is for you. Chump down on the passion fruit goodness, then reach the solid center of licorice. I was introduced to it in northern Germany. I wondered if it would be available in the U. S. Lo and behold, it could be purchased through Amazon. It is a bit expensive, but so it was in Germany. But it is worth it.

My first exposure to Lakrids by Bülow liquorice was when I visited Denmark with my Danish mother. We were at the airport and Lakrids had a little stand with samples of their various flavors. I immediately gravitated to the passion fruit because hey, it’s passion fruit and their liquorice was utterly delicious. I bought the large jar and I found it incredibly difficult to eat just 1 or 2 pieces of candy. The flavor of this liquorice is utter worldly.. If there was a numerical rating for candies this candy would receive the highest mark that is possible. Trust me when I say that this liquorice is a work of art. The different flavors of Lakrids that I have tried all have a depth of flavor that you do not find here in the states. I have tried 5 or 6 different flavors and each one has been incredible. You seriously shouldn’t hesitate in buying their candy, it is quite wonderful.

I absolutely love these. They are pricey, but I splurge every month. The last 2 have arrived messy. Some are cracked and crumbled. For $25, I expect more. I will not eat them.

So these are amazing. The mango vanilla are my favorite, but these and the strawberry are great too. I just wish they were $14 instead of $25-29

Delicious as all their sweets are. Needs better container. I was intending it as a gift but several pieces were cracked and broken so at the last minute had to buy something else.

So I was very curious about this confectionery, as on paper, passion fruit, white chocolate and liquorice should not work, plus I was slightly put off by the price. That said, I took a leap of faith, and what do you know, it’s entirely delicious! Trying to ration my consumption as we speak, so I know I’ll be buying it again, dammit. A veritable taste sensation.
