Very stiff.
This is my first hip extender, and it is extremely stiff. Sitting down with it on is troublesome. I assume with wear it will loosen up enough. I enjoy that my pistol is easier to grab. I also bought the Bianchi quick snap release for the pictured holster. I use a Ruger P-89 that fits snug as a bug in the holster. The entire kit is going to last for-ev-er.

Well made
It's okay. Kind of hard to mount your UM holster to, but expected. I wish I could find one with one half this drop. I just like a bit of a low ride, but not quite this much. Makes me look like a French cop or wanna be gunslinger. I am a civilian, and most military will disagree with me.

Perfect holster setup
I use the extender with the Bianchi M12 holster that this is meant to go with.What I love about the combination is that it is rigid enough that it doesn't flop around like most drop leg holsters do. It rides against my leg tightly and moves with me instead of against me.It's sturdy and it meets my main benchmark for an piece of gear. Which is: I never have to worry about it.

works great with bianchi holster...makes it easier to seat in tree stand or hunting blind without having a pistol hanging off your belt...also makes it easier to draw firearm while seated...

Real USGI Bianchi mad item
Is the real deal Bianchi USGI drop leg extender I used this on active duty in the mid 80's. Not the modern, sexy, plastic stuff issued today, but will outlast the newfangled stuff 10x. Quality, fit and finish is what you would expect from Bianchi. Is handy for the retired, slightly over sized GI. It gets the pistol below the muffin top... The 2x/4x mag pouch can also be attached to the top of the extender...
