I have an 8’ med-heavy rod and reel. I needed something to protect it while traveling. It is working out great. Fits nicely and there’s room for a second rod and reel.( that I don’t have yet)

So, I wanted to get a new fishing rod case. I had a Piscifun case, which I do really like, but it is rather long (around 47 inches). So, I ordered this one because I wanted a shorter case to carry my two 2-piece rods. When broken down, my rods are about 33 inches.Here's my observations / opinions:1) Length: around 37" overall. Perfect for my application. No complaints there.2) Compartments: so it has 2 separate rod compartments, full length zipper for each. Good.3) 1st minus: this thing is flimsy. There is no support for the rods. Your rods ARE the support. The Piscifun case that I have is rigid, like it has a plastic liner built in. This Lixada does not.4) 2nd minus: No "keepers" sewn into the compartments to help keep the 2 halves of your rods together. I did buy a roll of velcro stuff and used two small pieces to keep my rod halves together to keep them and my line from getting all wound up.I can put 2 setups in this case, no problem. I use spinning reels, so I just fold the reel handles inward for more clearance. But, with this case (as loose as it is) I probably wouldn't have to. I love the length for my rods, but the lack of any support or rigidity is kinda a downer. You will have to pay attention to where you put it for travelling, since if something gets on top of it, you may wind up with some broken stuff.

This was a solution to getting our fishing poles from our house to our boat without getting lines, tangled or tips broken. Most other rod holders require removing the real, but this makes it very simple. The carrier is very lightweight. Easily accommodate two rods with their reels. Even holds my 11 foot surf casting rod.

I always have a problem transporting my fishing rods in a car. The hooks and lines get entangled. I used this bag on a long trip to Lake Powel and I was super happy I took it with me on a houseboat, because it was easy to find my rods and they did not mess anything up.

Thought this case would be more stout and provide better protection than it does. It is stiff and zippers don’t go far enough to permit easy loading and unloading

Like other people have said in their reviews, this case is a soft shell with no internal structure... that being said, it does hold four carp rods with 5000 series spools! My rods are plenty sturdy to hold the shape of the bag and so I'm happy anyway. I'll be using this to transport my carp gear without getting it all tangled. The two pouches on the bag are quite large! I think I'll actually be able to store some useful stuff in there... I haven't checked to see if my bank sticks will fit, but I know they'll come in handy

I like that it could fit all my rod of different lengths and compartment for tackle and even a net... it's durable and the zipper is strong. The color compliment my fishing equipments
